Man of Steel: Superman Movie Masterpiece Sixth Scale Figure

This looks like our contemporary comics-no underwear over leotards. Yea there's no wire in the cape but you can manipulate the dynamic stand to support it-I just leave mine in the museum stance with cape straight down. The suit material is similar to that of the black suited Spiderman but seems more durable. This is good as the articulation permits all classic Superman poses. I find the box design quite attractive, well planned and worthy of a pricey collector figure. The head sculpt is spot on-it could be used to make a movie poster. I suppose there will be more Hot Toys Henry Cavill Superman figures but at best they will only be slight modifications of this sculpt similar to what they did with the Christopher Reeves figure. There are complaints about the spacing of the black border above the S and even if it's black or dark blue, the boot bottoms are a little off, the pants pull out of the boots and gather, etc. With the museum pose you won't see these. In any case it's best to just decide on a pose and leave it that way. You'll be in awe of the fine work put into this figure and glad you own it. This I'm sure for many a collector will be the first and the last figure of the contemporary Superman genre and will command a high price in coming years. Thanks Uncle Bill!

While the wait was long and the price was steep thanks to an alternate seller, this figure is hard to find now because of how dated it now is. It arrived in perfect condition and I am overall satisfied with the figure. This review is for the figure, not the seller, but at least the seller came through.The sculpt is near perfect. Looks exactly like Henry Cavill. Assembly is easy for the stand, comes with alternate hands and also the krypton key thing from the movie. The color is awesome and everything, highly recommended

Great Figure, I've been waiting to be able to afford a Hot Toys figure and once I did I jumped on this man of steel one. BAM! It was everything I thought it would be, from the reviews on here and the others I saw on youtube they were right.the pictures look cool on here but they ain't s*** once you have him in your hands ready to be set up.So if your a fan of hot toys and superman this is one figure you have to add to the stash.

This is a fantastic figure by Hot Toys. It looks exactly like the on screen Superman from Man of Steel. The suit has excellent detailing and looks metallic. I also love the base for the figure although I didn't use it because I was worried that the holder would damage the suit. I'm probably just being paranoid though. If you are a Supes fan go ahead and pick it up before the price skyrockets (like the MoS himself).

I showed it to my family and my 12 yr old daughter was laughing at me because I made a big deal about it upon receiving it at the door. I actually played the movie theme while unpacking it in front of my wife and kids. My daughter stills holds it to look at the level of detail. She says she can see nose hairs, she can't but that's the joke. It looks amazing!The overall look of the toy is great, no doubt however, the face of the one I received does not represent the detail of the face of the image being advertised. When you look at the picture on the product page there is not doubt at first glance that the toy looks almost exactly like Henry Cavill. That is not the case with the toy I received.

I am very satisfied with the toy of superman, for a collector it is a great product; but if you're too picky you should not expect that the item it looks like that is the person, it is a toy. The cost is high but I think worth the investment. I'll keep buying these collectible figures. thanks Hot toys, for making our dreams a reality.

of all the collectables I have...this is nice. However, the actual figure doesn't have anywhere the detail that the photos present. I received this and the Christopher Reeve figures as gifts and I was really expecting these to look like the pictures. Nearly life like. But they aren't. So if your expecting what the pictures present...bring down your expectations. They are nice but hardly as detailed as the pictures. I also had issues with the stand as the screw that you place over the piece that holds the character on the flexible rod was so tight. I couldn't get it loose. Working with a plier and wrench ripped the soft rubber covering on the rod so I basically have to leave this in a flying position. Again. It's a nice collectible...but don't expect what you see in the photographs.

I thought it was the seamless phichen body but it plastic kinda disappointed but it’s very well made so i guess i’ll keep it.
