I love love love this shampoo! It leaves my hair soft and shiny and takes out most of the frizz. I have blonde highlights and I use this once a week; I leave it in for 5~ minutes then rinse and follow with Malibu C hardwater wellness conditioner.

I love the way it takes the brass color out of my nearly white hair. This shampoo is REALLY PURPLE and very thick! It works wonders on my hair, leaving it soft & manageable & a nice shade of very light blonde, nearly white. I did notice if I use it every day my hair becomes dry. (I wash my hair every day & don’t use conditioner.) My only complaint is if I use the lid to get the shampoo onto my hand somehow the shampoo runs down the side of the bottle & stains the shower shelf. I have even tried taking the lid off & making sure there’s no shampoo on the outside of the container or inside the lid. Now I pour the shampoo directly into my hand, not using the lid at all.

I have been a fan of the Malibu C line since it saved my hair from the chlorinated water in the city I moved too. Having since gone from my natural brown to dark blonde, I was interested in a shampoo that would clarify gently, getting all the chlorine and junk off, and keep my blonde highlights bright. I tried Shimmer Lights, (the purple shampoo) which worked like a dream, but had such a strong odor I couldn't take it anymore-it would cling to my hair all day after using it, no matter how well I rinsed, and I decided to find something else that didn't smell so strong. This appears to be a newer product-I didn't even know it existed-and it is just as good as the other Malibu C shampoos I have tried. The fragrance isn't bad, and doesn't cling to the hair after washing, and it rinses clean, without greasy roots-I can shampoo every other day with this, and that's coming from someone with very oily roots. It also does not require as much rinsing as the Shimmer Lights-that has a tendency to give the hair a purple cast if it isn't rinsed out VERY thoroughly, and with this shampoo, you don't have to worry about that. Just bright, fresh-looking highlights! The only little, little quibble I have is that it is quite drying, especially in the wintertime, and my hair tended to get very staticky unless I used a conditioner. Otherwise, it's a great product, and I will buy it again!

I have hard well water. The rust in the water dyes the shower orange so you can imagine what it does to hair. This shampoo is the only purple shampoo I've found that helps with the brassy tones AND DOES NOT WEIGH DOWN MY HAIR! Other brands usually help with the brassy tones but always leave me with extremely flat hair afterwards. I do wish my hair was a little softer after washing but I just lather in castor oil/conditioner for a few minutes after shampooing. Hard to beat the lovely scent too!

I love this shampoo, but I will not buy from this seller anymore. I’ve lost 1/4 to 1/2 the bottle in the box both times I ordered. They need to make sure the cap is on tight and it’s in plastic.I’ll purchase from the actual company going forward, same price and they have a seal on the bottle.5 stars for product0 stars for shipping

Low rating due to packaging! Great product, but the bottle arrived leaking. Fortunately, the plastic bottle was sealed in a plastic bag and the product remained contained, but the cap did appear loose. If you are going to ship liquids, they should be well inspected and packaged!

My silver hair began to get yellow sections and the rest of my hair was looking dull. With so manypurple products available, what to do? I called up my wonderful hairdresser to ask for advice. I wanteda product that was gentle and effective. She told me to get Malibu C Blondes. Woo hoo! It worksgreat! The yellow streaks are gone. My color looks happy. My hair feels so soft. This is a superbproduct and the price is fine.
