I’ve been looking for a front facing camera for my 4x4. Cresting a peak has been an adventure in blindness, wishful thinking and hoping for the best. I couldn’t see over the hood when cresting an incline with a drop off. This solved my issue.Overall review: I like it, it works for my needs and I’d highly recommend it. Keep reading for specifics.Pros:Great night modeGreat camerasFront and rear camera / selectableLarge screen with a great display - it can be easily seen during the day. Slightly bright at night - but not overwhelming. I didn’t try to adjust the brightness.Large SD card capabilitiesCons:Formatting the SD card was not intuitive. You use the only two other buttons that are used for every other menu command - easy once I discovered the buttonsThe recording is what you see is what you get. Whatever the screen shows is what is being recorded. I’d like a true two channel recording system, but this does not do it.The cable length is a pro and con. The front was a good length with not too much extra length. The rear cable is about 45’ (for an RV). Fortunately I could coil it up and hide it behind a pane.The head unit shows sound as an option, but there is no actual provisioning for sound. It also gives the option of guide lines for the cameras, but they don’t display either. Not a deal breaker - just an annoyance to me.Overall; it’s the best system for the price that I’ve found. Other members of the 4-wheel drive group admired the quality of the picture and night visibility. The front camera’s night view was impressive - in full color.Time will tell. I’ll update the review if things change.

I bought this for less than 100usd. It was worth every penny. Still it would have been nice if I could remove the date/time stamp from the screen and get rid of the channel names at the corners. It does take an AHD signal and displays it nicely. Its really looks great - feels pretty cheap - but looks great. The cameras can not have their image flipped except in hardware so if you plan to hook the cameras up to another system make sure it will do the flipping for you also.

Communication with seller not so good. Yes, this system does record in Cab Audio. The menus for setup a bit confusing (what buttons to push) Manual needs an English editor. Managed to format a standard size SD-Card. Buy a good one.,. class 10 Pro.. Audio recording only plays through your PC.. Monitor has no speaker,, it dose play its videos. Cables have no trigger wire. ;-( update: 25 Feb........Also, option of guide lines... has none....lol. Remote " batteries not included".. Takes a standard coin battery.. CR2032. I find getting used to the monitor buttons easier. Cheers !

Horrid instructions remote is so cheap and does not work, none of fuctions work except one camera my twenty dollar one worked far better. This is second one ordered i have never been so disappointed in any product. It is from china so no option to contact manufacturer to find out how to trouble shoot DO NOT buy unless you wish to stress yourself out..

We have only gotten to use this once since it has been installed, so as of this review, we are generally satisfied with the technology part of the product. However, on the old fashioned part like getting an installation manual and user's manual, we are a little less excited. The online download for installation arrived several days after receiving the product and we don't find it particularly helpful for using. The playback of our ride is all in mirror image and we haven't figured out how to rectify.

Night vision is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! Any dust on the lens makes it impossible to see, and there is no adjustment for contrast on the display which makes it too bright to use at night. The picture quality is not as good as my other camera systems which give a wider view and better night vision without the IR white. Very disappointed in myself for not testing the system before drilling HUGE holes in my truck and chasing all the wiring as well as ordering 2 more reverse cameras since it comes with 2 forward facing cameras. I back up trailers at night and was trying to widen my field of view, instead I waisted A LOT of time! Not sure how I could’ve tested the IR without being installed...but the whole system is going in the garbage and I’m replacing with the system that hasn’t failed me in years of abuse. Do your research, stay with a small camera which won’t be affected by dust. I probably can’t name the system I use, but it’s not a 4 pin system...
