Worked great and was well received when given as a gift.My only comment in general is this. Being paper, be careful when you fill so that you don't drip any on the tube otherwise you will have an oily stain. Not bad for yourself but not so good when giftingI had no trouble at all and would highly recommend!

I agree with the reviews that mention these are not 1oz—.75oz at the most, but I can typically only fit .70oz. I measured out my ingredients for as many tubes as I was filling and wound up with much more extra. However, I don’t agree that they don’t slide while making your own lip balm with natural ingredients. I use both coconut oil and beeswax and tallow and beeswax mixtures and both slide easily. Tallow is best! I did find that one of the tubes didn’t have a flat bottom once had all been filled, so one of them leaked all over the place and I lost stock, but now I know to pay better attention before I fill them. Honestly, I’m not disappointed with these and will be purchasing again. I only wish they came in larger quantities so I wasn’t paying $1.20 a piece.

First, the tubes are super sturdy and a great alternative to plastic! But when you fill the tube, be careful that you don't dribble anything on the sides because it will stain the tube. Not an issue with the product, but more operator error.

Made lip balm, using natural ingredients and it would not slide/push up as advertised.

I love these! They push up perfectly for my homemade lip balms, however I do have to have a steady hand when I pour my balm mixtures. It can easily get oil all over the cardboard.

These are not 1 oz, maybe 0.75 oz. They weigh 1.2 oz after they’re fully filled including the container. Honestly they are not what I expected. I was in a tight spot and needed something ASAP for a customers order so I ordered these instead of my usual from another supplier and they’re WAY smaller. Would definitely be better for a large lip balm than for a lotion stick.

These tubes are much larger than I expected them to be, significantly bigger than your typical lip balm tube. They are too large to carry around, and I am not sure that the cardboard would hold up to melting lip balm in high temperatures. But if you want some tubes of lip balm for around the house, this is a nice sustainable option to have. I'm still looking for some kind of alternative to the smaller plastic ones.

I love these! Bigger than regular chapstick tunes, easy to use.. the only thing is that you have to be really careful pouring the oils in because it can stain the outside of your tube.
