The media could not be loaded. THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT THIS DEVICE, WORKED STRAIGHT OUT THE BOX. I PUT MY ORIGINAL LG REMOTE IN THE DRAW AND NOW I ONLY USE THIS ONE. GREAT GIFT OR A GREAT EMERGENCY REMOTE TO HAVE.

Needed it for my LG C1.To access the service menu for this tv hit “in start” then type in 0413. Make sure to hit “in start” again to close the menu out.

Is it worth the low asking price? Yes.Does it provide access to the Service Menu? Yes, if you know the password is 0413.Do I recommend it to others? Maybe, . . . read on.Physically, it does not look like the Amazon website photo. The color is dark gray which makes the black text unreadable in a dark room whereas the photo color looks light gray. Unlike the photo, there is no description or part number on the unit. (you might ask if this is even the same product)There is no manual, or reference to where instructions might be found. I had to read all the reviews on other brands of this remote (Aiditiymi and ZdalaMit) to find the password that allows entering the service menu (it is 0413). Note: seller has since this review included PW in descriptive text.Is it a good replacement for the LG Smart Magic Remote? NO. Besides the readability issue, some critical buttons are missing, most notably ‘BACK’, which is not the same as EXIT. Other buttons use different terminology than the original remote. Yet more buttons introduce unknown functions, and others do nothing at all. I don't even recommend it as standby in case you lose the original remote.Since there no instructions that I could find, I had to experiment more than I would have liked to learn which button does what. Warning: unless you want a complete Factory Reset of ALL settings, do not use the IN STOP button! (because after you enter the PW, you have to set up the TV all over again.)IMHO, this product earns no more than 1-2 stars.
