Organic Chemistry Molecular Model Kit Set for Ochem Students with User Guide - 140 Pieces

The quality is amazing for the price; this is one of the cheaper ones on the market, but it is definitely not low in quality. I love how durable the balls and the links are, and the atoms and links are relatively easy to take apart. However, in case there is a pesky connection, they do include a handy link remover. It is an organic chemistry modeling kit, so if you are looking for a general chemistry kit, look elsewhere because this set is mainly filled with carbons, hydrogens, and other elements commonly found in organic molecules. I also really liked that they included a variety of link sizes and that the entire kit is all packaged in a slim, travel sized container. If I had one tiny little complaint, I do wish that the carrying box had clasps that snapped the kit shut, but otherwise, it is great!

I bought this kit to help with visualization for an organic chemistry class. I was so excited to get it in the mail, that I opened it mid-walk from the mailbox (nerd, much?)... and I was not disappointed! The model pieces are durable, they are big enough to comfortably build, and they fit together beautifully. The container is perfect for storage, and it is compact enough to fit easily on my bookshelf or in my desk drawer. This was a great buy!

The model kit is perfect for my Organic Chemistry courses. I like that there are a good amount of pieces and that the cost was decent, especially compared to what they wanted for the model kit at my college's book store. The only complaint I have is that the lid does not fit tight so if you don't have the pieces in the bags and accidentally drop the box, you'll be cleaning up pieces for a while.

The student store has a model kit in a Rubbermaid container and tiny pieces that are difficult to differentiate. No way I was paying $35! I decided to purchase this kit and I'm so happy I did! It's easy to build and you get a clear visual representation of your molecule.I also want to mention that I accidentally crushed my hexane in my backpack. It didn't break and the bond pieces did not get bent out of shape! Thanks for making a quality and affordable model kit for those of us on a student budget. :)

Same quality as the cheaper molecular model kits available on Amazon. If you have the money, buy it. It at least has a graphical explanation of the contents glued to the lid. I would go with the cheaper kits, though. They are virtually the same.

The molecular model kit showed up quickly and was delivered on time like mentioned. The actual kit itself had lots of different atoms in it each with the correct number of bonding domains. I also noticed that the long bonds are very flexible allowing for easy double and triple bond formations which I was not expecting. Overall, it is a great product and definetly recommend it if you want a high quality molecular model kit and need help with stereochemistry.

I'm starting organic chemistry this semester and so far I can say that this molecular model kit has been really helpful in helping me understand molecular structures in 3 dimensions. This model kit has just the right amount to make a model of just about any molecule!

I'm very happy with my purchase. The pieces seem to be very sturdy and the perfect size. However I wish it had a guide on the colors like the black atoms are carbon or the single bonds are the short pieces.
