A good DVR which you can easily stream from and FTP from (to your server)
This is a very good low end DVR. It fixes the big issues I had with my XXXX DVR (brand deleted but you know who they are). With this DVR you can stream without exposing your DVR and your images to their "cloud".It has all the usual functions so I won't waste your time describing them. They are fine and all work. The big bonus is the ability to set up RTSP streams from the DVR from each of your cameras. Here is how in the manufacturer's techie's own words (it only took two days to get a response on Memorial Day weekend, just WOW).HelloThank you for your reply. The ftp setting path is: main menu - system - NetService. Double-click ftp with the mouse to set the ftp upload server information. The snapshot setting path is: main menu - record - snapshot conf. You can set snapshot and enable the ftp upload function here.In main menu - alarm, Intelligent Alert and Human Detect can enable the ftp upload function.RTSP streaming address:Channel 1: rtsp://<DVR IP>:554/user=<account>&password=<password>&channel=1Channel 2: rtsp://<DVR IP>:554/user=<account>&password=<password>&channel=2<DVR IP> <account> <password> needs to be modified to the specific information of the DVR.Thank youBest wishesI have not tried the FTP yet but the RTSP worked like a tater using VLC. I had originally tried it without knowing anything and it worked but the tech person filled in the part about addressing the individual cameras. I only tried one stream at time because I did not want to heat up the processor on the DVR. It gets plenty hot just doing it's DVR thing, so to hopefully help it and the hard drive last a lot longer I cut a hole in the top and mounted an 80 mm fan blowing down onto the hard drive and the heat sink on the processor. My other DVR's have suffered heat death and I like this one a whole lot better so the 30 minutes it took to mount the fan was worth it.I hope this helps you to decide and honestly I hope it helps you to select this DVR, because this manufacturer built a good product and they support it. They should be rewarded with good reviews and good sales. I wish you and them the best. I have already ordered my second unit in less than two weeks.Steve

Wost remote access app ever
XMeye app kept kicking me off stating that my password was either too weak or it's the wrong password.I made a very unique strong password and it still wasn't good enough. Everytime I close the app and log back in, it's asking me to redo my password. So frustrating and annoying. Whenever I make a new password, then the authenticator code is wrong, even after copying and pasting. The 2.0 Amp power supply wasn't powering all my TVI cameras. Don't waste your money on this junk.

Compatible with existing cameras and setup is a breeze
DVR works great and is easy to set up. Interfaces perfectly with my existing cameras but is much easier to set up and manage.

Symptom of Hard drive failure
Had lightning strike next door & the DVR only showed the White Splash Screen after cycling the H265+ on & off in about an 80 second periods. The hard drive had failed and the splash screen was the only indication. Otherwise the rating is 4 of 5 stars.

l recived a bait switch.
Watch out when looking at this products add. I am talking about the plugs in the back. I wanted the cable plugs not to be on top of each other. Becuse it's way to hard to swich them out . So this add has two products showing the back side.
