Exact replacement for my AprilAire humidifier on Lennox furnace.
Saved about a $350 service charge. The hardest part of installation was getting the compression ring on inlet side to seat. My used compression ring took firm tightening and just a microdab of pipe compound.

Worked Perfectly, Solved My Problem
My humidifier hasn't worked for years. I couldn't afford to call in a furnace specialist. Finally I took a close look at the system and deduced the issue had to be the solenoid. I took the old one apart, tried to clean it out the way some said to do - it worked for two hours then began buzzing loudly and died.I got a great price on this replacement unit here on Amazon so went for it. The part arrived quickly and was a cinch to install. I powered the furnace up and for the first time in years, the humidifier works like new. It's been about a week now and zero problems. Thanks for making my solution economical and quick!

Installed & working for days now, no swagelok or compression tube nut in box.
The valve has been installed and appears to be working as expected. Checked for leaks after days of operation and it was dry. There was no swagelok or compression tube nut in box. The several pictures from different angles on Amazon.com showed 1 swagelok and 1 compression tube nut. Also the Amazon.com pictures of the sticker indicate part number B2017-S85. I believe the part that I received said B2015-S85. However, I think these 2 numbers describe the same part.

Universal Valve Great Value!
If you were like me, you searched for a replacement valve for your furnace humidifier and became confused by the large selection and wide range of prices. Don't be confused by a specific brand or the different applications that they list. As long as fittings look like the ones one your valve, this one will work for you. Every furnace valve works on standard furnace power which is universal in North America. This is a simple repair that anyone with basic wiring skills can do. the voltage involved cannot harm you. Just turn off the water valve, undo your fitting, cut your wires and remove the old valve. Splice the new wires onto the old ones (no positive or negative since it's AC), screw the new valve back into position, screw the water lines back on (follow the arrows for flow direction) and turn your water back on. You did the job for $18 and it only took about 20 minutes!!

Easy for the least mechanically inclined
I do the basics mechanically in the house, I know more electrical than plumbing (am afraid of water), but this, which is a bit of plumbing, a bit electrical was easy even for me. As soon as you know you need it, it needs to be done and the whole Humidifier doesn't need changing against the expensive wishes of the HVAC company which doesn't look after YOUR pocket book, but theirs. I've also changed the water hose exiting from the Humidifier to the drain with this repair since mine was full of deposit. All in all, I keep checking it daily for now to make sure it works and not drip water anywhere which it hasn't. All is well and a good product well recommended.

Poor quality, not an OEM equivalent
This isn’t OEM. When installed it made a terrible water hammer banging. I ended up buying the OEM from generalaire and it worked perfectly. Despite the two products looking identical, they are not. Don’t bother with this. Get the OEM. More expensive but worth it.
