SekondaMen's Sports Watch

So this is my third Sekonda. The first was bought on a famous auction site we all know and I was really happy with it. I still have it to this day.My second Sekonda purchase was last year to wear with my suit and its amazing quality and feel.So I was looking for a sub mariner style watch and I was pleased to see an actual watch manufacturer with an affordable clone. I would not call this watch a clone, its more of a homage.So out of the box I have a light watch, not too heavy, my wrist is small and this looks just right on my wrist.There's plastic protective tape around the bracelet and the face and on the bezel. I've also noticed that there's another plastic tape covering the glass. So I've got some clear screen protection. Which I will try and not remove.I'm not good with changing bracelet lengths but this was pretty easy to do and took me about 10 minutes till I got it perfect.The watch keeps good time, and I was pleased that the lume was decent. Its not as long lasting as a Rolex or other top tier watch but it's pretty nice.For the price it's a very good watch. One only negative comment is that for a divers watch it won't go down too far into the water before you have problems. But I'm not a diver so this doesn't really affect me.If you want a decent stylish watch and you have £25 quid burning a hole in your pocket, get this watch you won't be disappointed.

Sure, there are cheaper watches available, but this doesn't look cheap and gaudy. It's just a watch, doing its job unobtrusively. Perfect.Update: Future me here. I have dropped a star from the rating because, after 6 months of use (and not being worn continuously), the body of the watch has started reacting with me. All the stainless steel parts remain super clean and shiny, but the body of the watch is obviously some other metal/alloy which has been plated. This plating has now started breaking down and real corrosion is now taking place leaving the surfaces nearest my wrist rough and unsightly. I don't know if this is specific to me or a more general "feature". I suppose you *do* get what you pay for at the end of the day.Otherwise it is still working fine.

This watch is fantastic, the quality was amazing as it feels like a well made product and it was well packaged having sticky plastic around the watch to protect it.The watch has a nice classy design to it, it has a small face but it’s easy to read and it’s great to wear all year round making it suitable for casual or formal events and It looks more expensive then it is, I had people mistake it for a more expensive brand at a wedding.The colours were nice and vibrant, they really do pop and stand out. The watch is water proof up to 50 meters and it’s really easy to adjust the time and the bracelet. I had to take a few links off and its was a seamless process. You can also turn the bezel of the watch which was a nice touch.Overall, I would highly recommend this watch. It’s affordable, stylish and it’s a great value for money.Hope you found my review useful.

Title says it all really, watch looks just as shown. However, it arrived with a dead battery.As a quartz movement I can only presume it's been sitting on a shelf somewhere for years.Refunded and returned.

Superb watch really pleased with the size, fit and look. I am a kite surfer and needed a watch which I can read easily and would fit well. straight out of the box and into the sea within a matter of minutes this watch looks great, I wear it over my wet suit and with the grip strap didn't move at all. Its a small face but that's what I wanted, I had lots of very positive remarks and chose the "Pepsi " colours as that is a standard. If you wear the strap against your wrist you may have to adjust during the day but you get used to it - after all it is a sports watch. The quality is outstanding and for the money very difficult to ignore. You won't be disappointed

I bought this as a stop gap to replace the 42 year old Seiko that we have been told that they won't repair because it is obsolete. I bought it because the style and colours were similar to the watch it was replacing and because it was very inexpensive. It's not waterproof but claims water resistance to 50m so it should be OK if you fall out of your canoe or do a few laps of the swimming pool. It doesn't feel as sturdy as the watch it has replaced but there again 42 years later, it was ⅒ of the price. My husband doesn't like stainless steel bracelets, so we replaced the strap as soon as it arrived, so I can't comment on how strong or comfortable the strap is. Overall, it looks more expensive than it is and it keeps good time.UPDATE. The spring bars holding the strap had to be replaced (possibly due to the replacement fabric strap) because they popped out but I can't fault the watch.

This watch is good value. The face is a little smaller than I’d like but it’s ok. I wanted it as a temporary watch whilst my more expensive watch is repaired. Does that ok but I’d prefer something slightly bigger and with more luminosity for a permanent watch. It’s slightly “shiny” around the bezel which gives away its price point. Can’t argue with the overall value though.

I bought this for my husband as he purchased the same watch 10 years ago. Unfortunately he got cleaning fluid (acidic) on it which took the chrome off the back. He wanted exactly the same watch as he loves it.
