like a beautiful piece of art but very useful for cooking.
Very high quality "glass" cookware. It works best cooking 'liquid' foods such as soups, stews, posole, menudo etc. Pricey but worth it for the quality product that it is. Mine is made in France.

Glass is king.
Fantastic product. Sturdy, doesn't crack or break, strong handle, well-fitting (although, not airtight) lid, easy to clean. And there's simply nothing on Earth better than glass for food safety; doesn't leach at all.

Best pot ever!!!
I heard from a friend that cooking in steel and Teflon pots could leave behind harmful substances in food. I bought this pot several months ago, using and abusing it. It can withstand heat and cold. I have cooked on this pot up to 500 degrees Freiheit (in the oven and on the stove), ate out of it, put the leftovers in the fridge, and heated it again. I am mainly a noodle person and do not have a dishwasher. The most surprising thing, to me, about this item is how easy it was to clean. I used some Dawn and a sponge. The food residue came off almost effortlessly!!! The first time, I did not have to scrub out a pot. I will buy this item again in the first place.

Great Pot - Although a bit expensive ... but it's hard to find.
This pot is great. I had a smaller one for many (20+) years that came as a bonus with a Cuisinart set of pots & pans. I loved that pot, but broke it doing dishes. I didn't think it would be that hard to replace and/or this expensive ... but I guess glass pots are hard to come by. In any event it's GREAT, just what I was looking for ... I use it for soups, oatmeal, grits, etc. If the price doesn't bother you, I'd highly recommend it.

vintage pyrex in good hands
The stovetop pyrex was proven. We like the safety of it and it will be used especially for acidic cooking. No issues. On the other front, it arrived with copious protection and the-heart-of-the-matter sitting in the middle well bundled, safe and sound. May the made in USA be close to our heart always. Thanks to the seller Granny's Trading Post, and Amazon. A wonderful memory. Thank you.

Corning
I like this particular pot to boil bass guitar strings in. I had two Corningware pots and one Corningware pan. Both of the pots became unusable as I have lived in several apartments and they broke during shipping. The pan broke nearly a month ago. I decided to try to find this pan online and succeeded. This pot was also available, so I decided to purchase it also. This pot and pan were both rather expensive, but they are useful, so I decided to pay the price which has made me have to adjust some other spending.

Great find! Great price! Fast delivery!
My husband loved this saucepan for making rice because he could see the level of fluid to judge when the rice was done. Unfortunately, it was broken. I found this Corning Vision on Amazon and chose Jckringle as the supplier, never expecting delivery before Christmas! What a wonderul job getting this packed up and safely on my doorstep! Thank you, Corning, for making a great product. Thank you, Amazon, for showing availability. Thank you, Jckringle, for such a speedy delivery. It will be a great surprise for Husband!

A boon to have
I love Vision Ware. It lets me see what is going on, cleans up easily, and just looks lovely. I bought this item (carefully packed) to replace the one I had broken. Since I already had a lid, this seemed ideal, but lo and behold! A lid came with the saucepan, after all. It has a slight chip, but I don't mind. It won't hurt to have an extra.
