Q: Is the top a tight, short fit or loose fit?

I am 5'6", 173 pounds and bought a large and an XL. The large is a tight fit, the XL is loose. I hope that helps a bit.

suggest you order women's size small. I ordered a medium (I'm 5"4" 130 lbs) and it fits fine....pj pants still a little long but it's fine.

Buy the size that hugs your body bc they are cotton and will stretch. I have not had a problem w them under my clothing. They are thin but warm(reasonably) depending on how cold it is, I bought one small and one medium for extra layer up for really cold extended weather or even just around the house. Hope this helps :)
