Ladder Buddy

I've used it once so far. This product is plastic. One of the tabs broke already. Getting past this, it works well.

Flimsy. Cannot hold a 20 ounce drink steadily. There is only one tiny piece of plastic holding the thing onto the ladder. I was holding it onto my ladder with two nice rubber-padded c-clamps: one on each arm, so it would be stronger, steady, and more secure overall.Even while always treating this silly things with "kid gloves" as they say, it came crashing down with minimal hand tools on it. What an expensive lesson to learn!!

This shelf is well made and very handy, but...I have one of the most common and popular aluminum ladders sold in the US. Its a Walker 6' step ladder.The plastic top of the ladder is wider then the clamp part on the shelf. I overcame this by installing 2 clevis pins to hold the shelf to the ladder top. I used the existing holes provided for screwdrivers on the ladder top. Works well and can easily be removed. Nice but I would have preferred it working as designed.

Stability of the tray is not there when used on ladders that get wider towards the ends (Little Giant, Gorilla Ladder, etc)

At first I thought: Boy I'm sure gonna return this piece of crap! But after some patience and effort figuring out how to use this.... as the instructions are very poor, I realized with some care this actually would still be adequate and useful. And at this price point ,worth it. So yes I recommend this product. However do keep your expectations low .It is useful for extra space at the top of my 12 ft A frame ladder.

Very cheap and many poorly designed parts .waste of money

This came without directions. Just some diagrams. As we tried to figure out how to put it together the small plastic pieces broke off in our hands. Sending it back.
