Great sound
I'm a weekend DJ/KJ this makes my 3rd pair of Mackies; all of which still work fine. My 2nd pair of Thump 15's. I just did a show using only these 2 speakers, with many complements. They are very light weight, compared to my Mackie SRM 450 V2. Also can't beat this deal!

These sound really good for the price point, but grill in front of tweeter is a design flaw
I tend to hate speakers that put grills in front of tweeters, but these sound really good despite that design decision. For the price these are great, and they are surprisingly light for how good they sound. There's a bit of a sound/noise floor even with no signal and gain all the way down, but when operating it's certainly not noticeable. The speaker stands seem fine to me, plenty stable. Haven't tried the mic yet.edit: UPDATEThe stands are pretty bad, the screws fall out and are lost and then you're at a show trying to gerry-rig the stands back together because a screw randomly fell out somewhere and you didn't know it.Sound quality:Ok, it's a bit of a design flaw putting a grill in front of the tweeter, that eliminates any definition in the high end. I knew that when I bought them and they are less bad then other designs with this flaw, at least increase the treble level to make up for the grill, but still they lack definition.I got to compare them with the higher end Yamaha S115v (passive) 15" tops... which is not a fair comparison. The Passive Yamaha's way twice as much as these Mackie's, and that is before you add the amp. The sound quality from the Yamaha's is better, especially in the high end, because they do not have a grill in front of the tweeter. The Yamahas are $1050/pair and then another $400+ for an amp to run them. I paid $799 on the Mackie's that weigh half as much and have their own amps. Overall Mackie's are GREAT for their price, but if you compare them to speakers that don't have a grill in front of the tweeter you will notice a difference in a hurry.

Great Product!!
Are use these at a live show for the first time last night. All six members of the band that I did sound for commented on how great they sounded and how much headroom they had left. Versatile, very light for what it is, very convenient, and a well-known brand. Kudos!
