Neopets: The Darkest Faerie - PlayStation 2

Always a big Neopets fan, I got this game for christmas in 2005 and even eight years later, through Elder Scrolls and Mass Effects and a healthy WoW addiction, not to mention a few internships in Game Writing, it holds up not only as something fun and nostalgic for Neopets fans, but a well-built and entertaining game that could easily have been a PS2 classic.The maps are HUGE, with tons of nooks and crannies to explore and treasures to find and sidequests to complete, so much that there are still some that I haven't found. Combat is fast and functional, easy for those of us that just want to get back to exploring but with enough customization with combos and motes between the two characters to keep it interesting. The plot is very Disney and endearingly cheesy at times, but with lots of clever dialogue and well-developed characters that I've come to expect from Neopets writers.Not the most hardcore of games, the few bosses take more than a couple of tries, and some of the levels are artificially difficult with time limits and instant-deaths, but all in all it's a must-have for any PS2 or Neopets veterans, a fantastic game for kids, and one of my favorites of all time.

In perfect condition. The game plays as I remember it. The only difference between this version and the one I had growing up is that the old case had a memory card holder while this one does not. Can't complain though as the game, manual, and cover are the same as the original.

I grew up playing this game. I got my younger brother into this game and now I’m getting my niece into this game. It’s really good and suggest others get it

I love the game. I bought it for a good price, it was in perfect condition, and it arrived about 3 days after I ordered it.I love the story, the characters, everything. Tormund (Lupe) and Roberta (Acara) are so adorable! I would recommend this game for any Neopets lover. Not only do you get to explore parts of Neopia you just don't see on the site, but there's a lot of backstory on older characters you hear about on the site (like Jerdana, the faeries, and King Altador!).

I loved this game it is an excallent brain teaser the costumes and the characters are adorable but sadly the boss characters were not very difficult in this game you play as a knight named Tormund and a sorceress named Roberta they must team up to defeat The Darkest Faerie who has cursed the land of Neopia. Over all I give this game a 4 stars so feel free to try it and enjoy it!

This is an excellent game. My daughter loves it. She enjoys the adventures. Loading takes a few seconds. The seller sent an almost new game to me with all the original accessories. Runs like it was never used. Sold it to me at a very low price. Awesome!

The copy of the game I received works only for the beginning of the game, entering the house does not load properly and gets stuck at a black screen

Came exactly on time, and disk was new and perfect. I loved this game years ago and i love it now. This game is perfect whether your seven or twenty five. Its cute and fun and perfect for kids to watch or play. My only complaint about the game itself is there are alot of back and forth annoyances. You start at point A need to get something at point B. Run to point C then they tell you that you need to get something back at point A and taje it back to C (etc.) other than that its a wonderful game.
