Good product for good price
Worked great on a piece of 1" sch 40 aluminum pipe. I welded mine in. Made a 10ft push pole for 50 dollars with this product,

Good Item from a USA foundry
A good item. I attached to a matching diameter bamboo pole with a good adhesive. The result works well.

Get the head 1st and then get the pole
I did have to grind the middle section just a tad so it could fit in my 1 inch pipe but other than that its awesome. I do still need to weld the head to the pole to give it more support even though it doesn't need it.

LOVE IT
I love it..At first I bought a 10ft piece of emt conduit and realized that I needed a piece of aluminum pipe. Found it at local metal supplier. Bought a 10ft aluminum schedule 40 pipe and welded it to the foot. Seems super strong. I would definitely buy this again...

Not good for mud bottom
When pushed into soft bottom, it becomes wedged, causing you to pull back on it. Which will stop boat from moving forward.

You'll need a drill press...
Needs hole or something else to facilitate attaching 1" EMT. Works fine and should last.
