Great speaker has lots of bass its very powerful for a small speaker and the colors are vibrant battery life is good well worth the money paid I would recommend this speaker

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a replacement shower speaker, and boy does this exceed any of my expectations! Not only is it waterproof, has great sound quality, and is beyond perfect for my shower, but I want to use it everywhere!Connects easily via Bluetooth, and starts up and powers down quickly. All the button features are very easy to use, and I even used the JBL app to connect it and change the lights and such and I haven't had any issues with the app so far. The light features are very cool, and even on the lowest brightness setting (can be adjusted via the app), it is VERY bright. For such a small, rechargeable speaker, the bass is VERY strong and the best of any speaker I own. The battery life is quite long -- I've used it a few times now at length and I haven't even needed to charge it once yet.My only issue with it is there's no way to go back a song. There's a way to go to the next song or fast forward, but no way to rewind or go back to a song by pressing a button on the speaker. That's a really minor issue though, and doesn't bother me much.

I love!!! Love!!!!love!!!! These speakers. They are beautiful, and powerful! Sound is pure. Last a long time per charge. Nice size, and not to hard to move around. Have not droped them yet. Crossing fingers. Lol

The sound quality is amazing. It's solidly built even though it is covered in high-grade, thick transparent acrylic and rubberized ends. It's waterproof, and easy to clean. It is a bit heavy so you'll want to get a case if possible. It's also good to protect the clear plastic surround against scratches. It doesn't scratch easily, but I wouldn't recommend throwing it in a bag uncovered with objects hitting it. Battery length is great and charges fast. The JBL App can be a bit flaky but works 95% of the time. Pairing the speaker to another Pulse is super easy and sounds amazing. The only thing I would gripe about is the lack of a simplified rubber case to protect the really gorgeous acrylic surround. Nothing fancy, just a holder or something to help transport it. Other than that, the speaker is amazing. I liked it so much I bought 2.

Let me start this off by saying I love JBL and I think they make really high quality products. My friend first introduced me to the Pulse 4 when he showed up with it one day at his house. Now this speaker is really fricking cool. The lights are super cool, I really enjoy that you can control the brightness of the lights, the custom setting is cool (if a bit seizure inducing), the lights are gorgeous with no pixels at all, the sound quality is good considering it’s only got one speaker on top unlike most JBL speakers and it’s overall just a really cool speaker for any occasion.My only issue with the Pulse 4 is the fact that it’s glass. Granted, the glass makes the lights about 10x cooler; however, THIS SPEAKER IS NOT PORTABLE. The fact that 90% of the speaker is glass means that this thing is a major pain in the neck to take anywhere. Even just moving it to another room is hard. The lack of non-glass surface area means any contact leaves smudges if you’re holding the glass or pushing every single button and/or risking dropping the speaker and damaging it considering it is glass and very fragile. Any attempt to protect the speaker with a case defeats the purpose of the speaker lights.Overall I really like this speaker and think it’s a really good investment (when it’s on sale). I got it for something like $157 and I really like it. I use for almost everything (really cool in the shower). Would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it. 4 stars out of 5
