Dr. Martens Women's 8065 Mary Jane

It's great to know that classics like these are still made. Great comfort that keeps my feet in the right position, unlike today's shoes made with cloth and mesh material that eventually stretch out of shape. It is also great to know there are shoe designers that don't think females' feet are POINTED. These type of shoes, especially with a high heel pushes the feet forward cramping the toes even more which eventually leads to feet problems.My father believed that the most important part of our dress attire were the very best shoes you could afford, even if you only owned one pair. First pair of docs. Live Mary Janes. Was scared the sole would be stiff but it’s comfortable to walk in. Was worried they would be heavy but it doesn’t feel weirdly heavy. They look good. The front strap holder rubs the front of my ankle and the back of the shoe rubs against my right ankle. Hoping breaking these in will help. Took a file to the back edge. Will be stuffing them. Excited. Got so many compliments on them. Can wear with anything. The leather and insole are nice. These fit and feel better than expected.

Used to wear these in HS, got another pair and they are still amazing quality.

I used to wear this style in the nineties and always loved the practicality and durability of them. I was happy to find another pair and ordered right away. I wore them today and got several compliments! The old ones had elastic on the buckles so they were easier to put on and off, and I do miss that feature. The straps and buckles on this new pair are so stiff it’s a bit difficult for me to manage them, with the arthritis in my hands now. But I’ll manage because I love them so much. I put these on first thing when I got them, and my feet immediately felt like they just came home! Ahhhh...

I have had these several days, walking around the house with thick socks. I am torn by loving them, or not. I have received replies on my question with regard to the "break-in" period; thank you to all who took the time to do so! Having said this, the T strap is a bit uncomfortable on the top portion of my feet. They do seem a bit larger than my normal size 8 but I could not go down a size, it would be too tight. I also understand that they are not made in the UK, I can order other styles from the UK but, the cost is prohibitive, at this time. The foot-bed of these shoes are the BEST! I have had surgeries on both feet, at different times and find it really hard to buy shoes that are really comfortable so, I tend to spend more on better quality, The leather is stiff but, I don't feel that is my real challenge - it is the style of the Mary Jane with the T cross over the top and the fact that the buckles do not have an elastic band, makes it a bit tough to really want to keep them. I cannot and would not, wear them without socks; they would be too big and too uncomfortable - if I could have the same comfort from the foot-bed within the leather itself, I would give these 5 stars. Still sitting on the fence, for now and, may order a Made in England pair for comparison - If you are debating, and can take the breaking in period, do not hesitate to buy these; Made in England or not - they are still Doc Martens!3.2018 - returned the shoe, I just could not keep them knowing that they were not the correct fit. Too bad! Seller was prompt in addressing my return.

I have been wanting these shoes for years but they were just too expensive UNTIL NOW. Prime day sale they were more than 50% off! I cant wait to wear these! Theyre so cute and fit me perfectly. Dr. Martens usually run big but I got a size 8 and they fit me perfectly. The leather is very tough but if you wear thick socks they arent too bad. Mine arrived in perfect condition, the black leather looks perfect.

These MaryJane shoes are amazing. They are a heavy excellent quality leather. I use Dr. Marten Wonder Balsam on these to help condition and protect them. I also recommend using this wax completely on the T-bar and straps. This will eliminate any possible squeaking. Also, the easiest way to put these on is to use a shoehorn, and leave the buckles strapped, ready to go! I love these super cute comfortable shoes and I think you will to!
