Spring eventually breaks rendering it useless.
I play by ear & acuity. I would like to redesign this instrument for accuracy of pitch, resonance tuned chambers, titanium reeds capable of sharp& flat bending & easily replaceable springs!

Never had a chromatic harmonica
Wow this is fun. I’m not very good (yet), but I love noodling around on this harmonica. Key of C makes it versatile. I hope to learn to play it correctly

It seemed a little cheaply made. It reminded me of cheap stuff available after WW II that said "made in Japan". I prefer the smaller holes available on other Hohner instruments.

Sloppy handling ruined the product!
Package came with a glue substance on the leather case which dripped into the harmonica making the reeds stick, did not live up to my expectations

I like it, I love it, I want more of it.
Just what I needed.I have a 14, but that's just a tad too big for convenience at times. As the Chrometta harmonicas are a bit on the large size, this one is down sized enough to fit in any pocket.I would recommend this over the 8, as it's more versatile, is only $10 more and you have2-1/2 octives to boot! The 8 might leave you short when looking for that extra note. All in all, I think if I had to choose one Chrometta between the 8,10, 12, and 14, it would be the 10.Make sure when you order, to get the ones with the raised relief lettering. These were made in Germany. The Flat cover plates without the raised lettering were not. The Flat ones look cheap.Mine did come with a China label over the German label on the case, as if China was trying to take credit for a German product. I heated it up and separated it from the original label and, VIOLA!There was the originalMade in Germanylabel. Hmmm. What's up with that?Anyway, raised relief Chrometta lettering on the cover plates = Made in Germany.Flat etched lettering is not German. Why did Hohner sell out to an Asian toy company???I have no clue whatsoever...
