Yes, we’ve gone back to the original concept for the Bronco! As you can see from the pics here, it’s now a standard flip shoe with a straight reversed thumb cleat and huge weighted tips. It gives its older brother, the E-Z Flip II a run for its money at being the best flip shoe out there! In the re-design process, we used the same basic body as its predecessor, but really beefed it up, especially the tips. This Bronco is weighing in quite a bit heavier at approx.. 2 lbs. 9.3 oz. So, if you’re looking for a standard flip shoe that’s got some extra weight to it, this is the shoe for you! The thumb cleat is medium sized in height, but wider than most to give you more room to adjust your thumb position left to right. The heavy weighted tips help it flip smoothly and land dead on with little to no flip-back. The rounded hooks easily catch and hold the stake. Also, the side blades of the new Bronco are nicely contoured, making the Bronco equally comfortable for turn players. So, if you change partners a lot in doubles play, this Bronco is a truly shareable shoe with flip and turn pitchers alike! Every Thoroughbred Horseshoe can take a serious beating… it’s part of the plan from the beginning, as we know our customers well! So, they should all last quite a while even with heavy pro-level usage… hence the two-year warranty. But if used only occasionally, a set of Thoroughbreds may last a lifetime!

Just what I wanted. No middle bump.
Just what I wanted. No middle lip or bump which makes it difficult for me to throw.

Very nice, but odd.
Pretty accurate throwing shows. Kind of hard to get used to ( no nub) “usually you place ur thumb on nub when throwing “ these Broncos have no nub , so it’s kind of difficult to master a one flip ringer. Takes a little while to get used to.
