The size and fitment of the product are pretty spot on with my Surface 3. I've used many screen protectors across different devices and this one is near the top as far as ease of installment and quality. Its darn near impossible to install a screen protector without any bubbles or dirt but this product has a nifty little kit that helps prep the screen and remove dust particles during and after you install it. I was able to install mine on first attempt with only 2 imperfections that I just couldn't get out but they are small dust particles that are hardly noticeable at all. If I cared enough there are 2 more sheets to try again! I would recommend this product to anyone, especially at this price.

Installation: I installed one shield and have the remaining stored away in case the first needs to be replaced. The installation was successful on the first try; however, I used a spray and squeegee system that I saved from a kit for a different device.Condition upon shipping: After reading some reviews here and on other sites, I had slight concerns about potential damage during shipping. However, the screen protectors were sent in a sturdy box with plenty of filler, so it arrived in immaculate condition.So far, I have had positive results with the Mr. Shield. It provides a sturdy, protective surface that allow for easy viewing and has not interfered with the touch screen capability. I prefer this product over two others that I have tried in the past.I will definitely consider purchasing Mr. Shield products in the future.

I got the matte screen protector, and it's very effective. It feels much nicer under the fingers, doesn't pick up prints as much and doesn't give as much glare. The only down-side is it feels kind of scratchy with the pen, but I'm hoping that will improve with a bit of use.When applying, I'd suggest you clean the screen with some kind of screen cleaner (I used disposable screen wipes) then blast it with canned air. Then you can put the protector on easily and pick out any remaining particles with the tape. One note: when you're peeling off the outer layer (step 2), make sure you pull it off carefully at first, separating it from the protector itself. I did it too fast at first and pulled off the whole protector, erasing all the work I'd just done.

Basically, I've had better and I've had worse screen protectors. The matte finish is nice for my Surface tablet since it makes it feel more like drawing on paper, but the protector seems to introduce a slightly higher lag that negates any benefits it may have given. Overall, it's an okay product for me, but you may have a different experience based on your needs. I'll let you decide for yourself with a pros/cons list.PROS+ AMAZING customer service. The first package I received was missing the accessory kit. They wasted no time contacting me back and getting an entirely new set of protectors out to me, free of charge.+ Thick and sturdy screen protector. You'd really have to TRY to damage your screen with this thing on. It's very well made+ Thick material makes it very easy to apply and get bubbles out of. I'd recommend a stiffer material for edging the bubbles out than what they give you, however.+ Cut is perfect and matches my Surface's camera, edges, etc, nice and snug.+ Nice matte texture reduces glare and makes it feel like drawing on paper.+ Lifetime warranty, even against user errors in application.CONS- Thick material makes it hard to keep the corners down on the application, after a while they start peeling up a little. Not horrible, but kind of annoying.- Introduces some minor extra lag to my drawing. Adjusting pen sensitivity settings does seem to mitigate it a bit.- The material generates so much static when you remove the adhesive back it isn't even funny. Peel as slow as possible to keep the static down, but it will still be a magnet for every particle of dust in a six foot radius. I've never had static this pronounced with a screen protector before. I found myself having to touch metal to dissipate the shock before touching my Surface since I was afraid I was going to damage it.- The protective layer that you remove from the top when finished is adhered far too well to the screen protector. Twice I had the protector perfect, with no bubbles and no dust, only to scream in rage as the tape on top pulled up the entire protector instead of just removing the top layer. Indeed, it seems the top layer has a better adhesive than the actual protector does.

The company left nothing to chance, and I was apprehensive, but I achieved professional results.

This works great on the Surface 3. Installation was typical and mine went down without any bubbles or dust underneath. As another reviewer mentioned, it gives just a little more texture to the screen which makes writing with pen so much better. It cuts down on the glare well, although not as well as some others I've used on different devices. Overall I'm very happy with this protector.I was very happy - until I experienced a critical issue. Suddenly I was dealing with the horrible phantom touch issue. While simply watching the screen, there appeared a tap tap tap in the top right corner. I researched and tried all sorts of utilities and tricks and nothing worked. My tablet was nearly useless (imagine someone tapping away from a menu or text box every time you try to navigate anywhere - it just shuts down the menu). Just before starting the return process I peeled off this protector - and the phantom touch disappeared. I went 3 weeks without even a hint of that issue. Then I took the second of the three protectors and put it on again. Immediately the tablet started experiencing the crazy phantom touches again, even worse than before. Four days later (today) I took the protector off and the problem instantly vanished.This screen protector is completely unusable for me. If you experience something similar check the protector first.
