This item is indispensable for anyone with a yard or garden. It makes leaf or yard debris pick-up a snap. A simple and solid well made product.

I bought one of these dust pans from an Ace Hardware possibly 10 years ago and have loved it. I’m getting older and it was always either near the front of the house when I needed it out back or out back when I wanted it out front so having two is really handy. The original one already had the handle on it oriented toward the back of the dust pan rather than bending toward the front. For me, having it bent toward the front makes the balance better for carrying it from sweeping to the trash bin. They hold a lot and you don’t have to bend over—also good for older backs. The original one is now at a neighbor’s house doing a tryout—it’s not in bad shape but I had to buy the pair of them and only wanted two. If you sweep up enough to fill this dust pan, it can be heavier than you want to handle. In that case, don’t sweep so much up at a time—you still have the advantage of not having to bend over and sweep stuff onto a smaller, traditional dust pan. A good buy and, if you have an older friend with less mobility, the second on might be a good gift.

This product is a "must have" item for working in the yard. It allows you to consolidate and remove trimmings and clippings as well as dirt and dust without having to bend down to do the job. It accomplishes a variety of tasks with no wear and tear on your back. It lasts forever! I have used this product for 20+ years. When the one I owned eventually wore out, I did not hesitate to purchase a new one. The item is a little pricey for sure but in my mind it is well worth it.

I've had a Mclane Stand Up Dust Pan for many years and have used it so many times. I like how much stuff it can hold and easy it is to move around and sweep stuff into. My old one is still usable but the rubber strip at the front of the dust pan has worn down to where I wanted a new one. It is my favorite tool for cleanup tasks.

I've been using these for ages, unfortunately, they aren't available in hawaii anymore....or I haven't found a store that still carries them. Sturdy and I love that the pan does not move like all the others on market. I notice also on other brands that the front edge tends to warp up where you can't get dust into the pan. This one does not do that. Only reason I need to replace every few years is because everything metal here rusts and plastic eventually gets brittle from the salt air here.

I had one for many years that got used a little too much for construction debris and finally gave out. They work really well… especially for sweeping up the patio, garage, driveway, sidewalk after mowing. Would give 5 stars if I hadn’t had to buy 2 to get this.
