I use this wax on all my vehicles and it works very well. I put a coat in the fall. Then I use a car soap with wax to wash my cars during the winter to knock the salt off and clean the dirt. The wax in the car soap replaces the wax that comes off when you wash the vehicle. This wax will hold up easily until the next fall when I apply it again. I guess it's also very good for boats but I primarily use it on my cars.

I have found Collinite 885 holds up better than any other wax product I have used. Follow the instructions, do a small (2' x 2') section at a time, and it will go on and come off without a fuss. I apply and remove the wax by hand and then follow up with a foam pad on a buffer at 1200-1400 rpm - boat looks great!

I don't find this product hard to apply compared to other paste waxes, and it lasts a lot longer than any liquid I've used, including Collinite's other popular products. Waxing a boat isn't fun but if you're going to do it you may as well use something that works.

This is the best wax I have ever used. I started using it on my boat and it worked so well that I now use it on all my cars. I only apply it once a year and it last the whole year. One can will easily do my 20 ft. boat and 2 cars and my truck with some left over. I will say that a small dap goes a long way and don't wait to long to buff it off. No longer than 5 minutes or you will have sore arms.
