Oh, my goodness!
What a wonderful rain shower head. Started my kitchen remodel while I was in China. Stayed at a great Westin in Xi'an, which had ceiling rain shower heads. loved the feel, though a little strong, so ordered the 12" instead of a smaller size (same volume of water over a larger surface area = a gentler shower.) This is perfect. Refreshing, relaxing, easy to install (so I am told by my contractor) looks great. My kids love it too. Very happy I chose this shower head. A little more expensive than planned, but what the heck.

Just love these RAIN heads... a level of luxury that is affordable....Its a Grohe, so, as always, the finish is superb...the build quality is as good as they get, rock solid...you pay for build and finish!the effect of this shower head is highly dependent on your water pressure... this is true of any brand RAIN Head....if you have too much water pressure and you can not control it, then it could be too strong, add a control valve. If you have insufficient water pressure, the water will drizzle.... its hard to give you the exact numbers, as not only does it involve the pressure, but also the pipe sizes feeding the shower head...so sometimes, u gotta just try it... not all plumbing is plug n play... specially when we all like different feeling rain... so keep this is mind.Great rain head, fair price considering the quality....

Beautiful Design and Well-Made, Just Not a Pleasant Shower Experience
It is beautifully designed with elegant lines. It's construction says 'quality'. Nevertheless, several months later I replaced it with another shower head. The water from this shower head comes out in 100+ tiny pressurized jet streams. 100 pressured streams of water striking your body does not feel that pleasant, at least not to me. I want to feel a soaking rainfall, with the water falling simply with gravity, like standing under a gentle waterfall. This Grohe just didn't provide anything close to that. I replaced it with a very nice (but not nearly as attractive) shower head without jets. At 1/5th the cost of the Grohe, it provides a much much more pleasant experience in the shower.
