Vastly Improved Commodore 64 Picture Quality
After 36 years most of the original Commodore 64 RF modulators are going to be getting weak and noisy. This bypasses the problem and gets much cleaner video out of the aging systems. This Kenable cable is very well built and works flawlessly. Shocked how crisp the image is on a modern HDTV!As some other reviewers have noted, pin assignment when used with a C64 is as follows:YELLOW = Composite videoBLACK = Audio (mono)WHITE = LumaRED = ChromaLuma and Chroma are the two components of S-video, and thus should be pin-compatible through the use of an S-video to 2-plug RCA adapter for even greater picture quality.

Great for Old Commodore Computers
Works perfectly for Commodore VIC-20, 64 and 128 computers to connect to a monitor/TV (provided your monitor/TV has composite inputs).

Worked well
I needed a cable like this to connect my European make Tape recorder to my sound system. The actual cable is too short for my permanent needs, but it worked great for testing out the equipment and coming up with a wiring diagram so that I could get a longer cable manufactured for me. Will keep in the cable box for potential future use

Take note: Black is White
Works great, but take note. In this day and age, red, white and yellow are your audio right, audio left and video respectively. I had to research and paw through forum posts to discover on the Lemon64 forum that the reason I had only buzzing was because white is a "luminance" connection. Leave the white one unplugged, and use black instead, and it'll work great. Way better than RF coax!

Works as a video cable for my Commodore VIC-20
Works as a video cable for my Commodore VIC-20. I used my multi-meter as a continuity checker to determine the pin-out of the cable. I then consulted the Commodore VIC-20 manual ("Personal Computing on the VIC-20") for the pin-out of the computer's A/V connector. I made a mapping between the two and determined that the yellow cable should be connected to the A/V video input on my modern-ish 19" Sharp LCD TV.

Faulty Cable, dont waste your money
This cable worked well for a week or two, however the flimsy connectors stopped working and produced a wavy picture and weird lines, or even no picture at all. I used this with my C64 and I suggest not buying this cable.

High quality cable with molded connector
I used this to connect my Atari 800xl to my Samsung flat panel tv. The cable it replaced was one that I had made. This cable produces very clean video, out-doing my own careful construction. The price is great, and it came by ROYAL Mail all the way from the mother country. If you need such a cable, look no further.
