Miracle Plant
I've been wanting a Z Z since last year. Read up on them and finally went to buy one from HD and they said they don't deliver those plants to my state. I was very happy to find it on Amazon. When the plant arrived, I was ill and could not go and pick it up from the management office in my building. A week passed and finally I was well enough to go get it. I dreaded opening the box because I imagined it would be dead. Upon opening the box, I found a bright and healthy plant. Not 1 yellow leaf. It's a miracle plant that sits on my work desk. It has a few new shoots and looks wonderful. It was worth the wait and I am VERY happy with my Zee Zee

Yikes
I ordered two plants. I planted both into terra cotta pots and put them in appropriate light. One of them is doing fab, the other is slacking. The one doing well came in pretty good shape, and was larger to start with compared to it's sickly companion. Now I need to take the poor performer out of the pot and examine for rot because over the passed few days, yellow leaves have shown up. I have not over watered, and even sprayed the inside of the pot with a neem oil spray to try to prevent rot. So I'm deeply pleased with one of the ZZ plants, and deeply displeased with the second. I was hoping to give one as a gift so I think I'll end up ordering another. But probably from a different seller.Edit: ok so the one that was doing well.. Also started turning yellow. I tried using neem oil spray and diluted hydrogen peroxide to fight what I suspected was tuber rot. After a few days of zero improvement, I gently removed them from their soil. Turned out, most of the tubers had significant rot. Like, just GONE. Empty tuber casing was in some places, obvious rot in others, and just missing tuber in others. So I took a clean, sharp knife and cut away whatever was rotten or sketchy. Some tubers were trash, but I have their stems in water. I then soaked the tubers in neem oil solution. After a little air drying, I stuck them in more dry succulent soil, with a little extra drainage. They are alive, and yellowing fewer leaves. I hope they pull through!Update: One remains intact. Still iffy. As in one branch, out of both plants. Please send replacements! The root rot definitely came with these bad boys when they arrived. I'm not pleased, but I have gained a lot of experience in what can go wrong with a ZZ plant! 10/10 educational experience!!!

I'm very happy now. Because i got exact the item as ...
I got today for only 3 days after purchased from the seller " Hirt's Gardens " . It's looking healthy and very green leaf . So it was arriving exact as photos with 6" pot and full leaf , then the smallest stems is about 12 " tall and the biggest stems is about 18" tall from Top soil ( not including pot ) . Then only the soil is arriving very dry , but i'm watering too much on the soil . Hope it doesn't get dead after that over water . Anyway I'm very happy now . Because i got exact the item as what i ordered . Then hope this plant indoor doesn't have any poisonous as on What the You Tube said . Again ! Thanks for great live plant .

Another Victim to the Black Thumb
Oh you poor little guy, you didn't stand a chance. This plant is beautiful, packaged securely, clearly meant for great things. Until my black thumb got a hold of it. I went for a "hardy" plant because I am one of the wonders of the world that can kill a succulent, but, alas, Even the mighty ZZ couldn't survive me. I think i overwatered it? I dunno, it got moldy? Repotting didn't go very smoothly either so it was wonky from the start. Seriously great plant, only dinged a star for the sake of my ego (at least PART of it must be the plant's fault, right?)

Not as shown
My plants showed up in closer to 5" pots, not 6" pots, and like others have said were a quarter or less the size as shown in the pics. Mine had i'm guessing were well watered in order to make the trip(it should have been fine since they do well without water) and this caused the roots to start to rot. I ordered two. One has already died from root rot, but I think I can save the other, but it only has one sprig on it so will be quite stunted. They did look like they were otherwise shipped quite well, in protective wrap and a bamboo stick keeping the box upright and the pot fairly stable in the box. It's a shame about the watering. Maybe was just bad timing? But nonetheless, the damage was done. Hopefully this is not normal. They were still not like the "full size" plants shown(more like a shorter version of the bottom of the three pis, NOT the main more "bushy" pic). Maybe order again and see if I can get lucky and if not re-pot it immediately, inspect more closely for issues and deal with them sooner.

Sent as a Gift
I sent this as a gift and my Mom really liked it. The ZZ plants are really sturdy when they travel and when you have them in your house as they do not require tons of water or light. This makes them a really good gift as while they are not "unkillable", they are more sturdy than the average houseplant. I thought this plant was reasonably priced and shipped in a container that kept it in good shape. Definitely 5 stars.

Too small-damaged
It only has a few leaves. It’s very small and nothing like the picture advertised. The box was too small and they had to bend the top leaves, harming the leaves. The packaging was poor, maybe done by a new employee?? There was dirt coming out of the pot and the plant was falling apart. I was able to readjust it and secure it with a bit of soil and perlite on top. The soil that it came in was moist so I won’t water it for a while. I’m glad it wasn’t a gift.Update-9/27 Some of the leaves are turning yellow. I didn’t water it because the soil was moist. I hope the plant doesn’t die on me 😞

I will be shocked if I can get it to live.
I have bought many plants online and have had tremendous luck, until, I got this plant. It came in a dented growers pot and did not have enough soil to cover the roots of the plant. It is a ZZ plant and it has bulb/bulb like root source. The plant stalks do not look healthy. I let it sit out to breath overnight and then immediately repoted it. Now I am just going to cross my fingers and hope for success.I am hoping this is not usual practice and just a fluke.
