Awesome rolling pin!
The rolling pin is absolutely beautiful but more importantly, it’s very functional. It’s weight is perfect for rolling out dough… SO much easier than a wood pin. The marble also stays cold when rolling out doughs w/ butter in them &, so far, dough doesn’t seem to stick to it as much as a wood pin either. The only minus I could foresee would be for elderly or child bakers, the weight might be difficult for them but that’s the only thing I would knock it on. It would also make a great wedding or housewarming gift bcuz it’s super pretty! I read tons of reviews as I was wanting a heavy rolling pin & I was hesitant to get marble after reading some of the reviews but I’m glad I did & I can’t imagine ever using anything but marble ever again.

Nice heavy rolling pin.
I had a marble rolling pin that I used for about 30 years. My daughter wanted it, so I gave it to her. Then I tried a stainless one and decided that I liked the marble one I had better, but I no longer had it. So I purchase this one for myself. I love it! It seems heavier than my old one and the handles are bigger. It is really sturdy and I like that it has the little stand. It is nicer than my old one. I guess it's ok that I gave my old one away.

Great rolling pin, more gray than pictured
I was hoping for a mostly white rolling pin, but this one is pretty medium gray. It's still beautiful and the handles are a great size. It's heavy which makes rolling out dough a breeze. The packaging isn't very pretty for gifting purposes, but it was easy to wrap for Christmas in the shipping box. It will last a long time!

Gorgeous product.
I bought this for a friend and he loves it! He hadn't seen a marble rolling pin with wooden handles before and things they work every better than the all one piece. It's very classy looking, too, with its own little stand to put it on. I was very impressed with how elegant a rolling pin could be! Great product for the money.
