The tablets dissolve into a pink liquid that leaves a light stain / residue on the retainer. My retainers were much more clean and clear with a competing brand.

1) Keep tablets out of reach of children and those at risk of accidentally swallowing the tablet or solution. 2) Do not place tablets or solution in mouth. 3) Do not drink cleansing solution or use it as mouthwash. 4) Rinse well. 5) Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients. 6) May produce allergic reactions. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and get medical advice and/or attention. 7) If swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor. 8) Do not touch mouth or eyes after handling tablets or solution. 9) Wash hands thoroughly after handling tablet or solution. 10) Causes serious eye irritation. If in eyes: Rinse cuatiously with water for several minutes. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice and/or attention.
