Slim and attractive. I think it's very sturdy. Not sure why some people thinking simply using two hands to get a few squares of TP is a big deal.

I found this cleverly designed piece of hardware on Houzz.com and purchased it for an good price at Amazon. The small base decreases its general stability, as other reviewers have mentioned, so if there are kids, animals, or you lean towards clumsiness, this isn't for you. However, if you don't fall into any of these categories, the base is relatively heavy and you'll find this piece a sharp and functional addition to the modern bathroom.

Elegant, understated and functional. Perfect for tight spaces. Toilet paper roll stays on securely. The base is a good weight. There's a tiny bit of wobbly going on but the stand is not going to fall over; the only way to prevent that would be to bolt it down, right.

When we remodeled both of our bathrooms within the last 3 years, I bought one for each. My preference is not to mar the cabinetry with an attached holder, nor I do like the look of wall-recessed holders. These are perfect for my design aesthetic! The bottom is sufficiently weighted, so they stay in place until manually moved and the weight does not allow for tipping over.

Edited: I ordered replacements because of the original stands having dents at the base. Both replacements also came with significant dents. I don’t recommend these stands at all. I’d give this zero stars if I could.I ordered two of these toilet paper stands. They both arrived with significant dents at the base. I’ve used this stand from a previous purchase and love the overall product. Amazon packed these stands with about 3 feet of wadded paper and that’s all. No other stuffing to protect the stands.

Fast shipping. Packaged extremely well so no damage could possibly occur. This was a replacement for a similar product that had broken. Was so happy to find one online as these items are very scarce in stores.

I have 3 bathrooms in my new house and was looking for the perfect toilet paper stand. I couldn't decide so I bought 3 different ones. I am posting now to reflect my initial thoughts, and will try to come back and post an update in a year to say how well they hold up. This is my second favorite. It is weighted perfectly, and feels sturdy. I like the way it looks and it has a small footprint so it fits well in the powder room. My favorite is also made by Umbra. It has a way to hold reserve toilet paper rolls, which this one does not. When I purchased, I didn't think I wanted the reserve toilet paper rolls feature, but I am finding that it is very convenient.

Umbra Stream Die-Cast Metal Toilet Paper Stand, NickelI bought this because I like standing toilet paper holders that I can reach easily and aren't attached to the walls of my SMALL bathrooms....However, this stand is Pretty tippy.....it fell over quite a bit, and also with the open holder it is very easy to pull the entire roll off the stand when you are trying to rip the paper....I bought some other stands elsewhere that I was much happier with....But, everyone has there own likes and dislikes about this kind of thing... It just wasn't the right product for me...I have saved this holder tho and may find some other use for it in my household, just not toilet paper....the metal is a nice brushed nickel which I do like over chrome ones.
