Update: I purchased a second stick. The plastic knob to push the stick up was cracked and it won't turn. I don't know if it was the delivery person, the packing person or if it arrived at Amazon (or the shipper) that way. But, I got it and now I have to break it out of the container and find a way to store it. Original review: I don't know why it has a gritty feel to it especially after reading the ingredients. Why is it gritty? I guess if you only use it on your feet/heels it wouldn't make a difference but you'll feel it if you use the stick anywhere else. Other than that, price is good. It works on my feet/heels and I will purchase again for that reason.
