Carib Sea ACS00052 Fiji Pink Reef Sand for Aquarium, 40-Pound

Great product. Rinsed clean fairly well with little organic detritus. Dust was normal and easily rinsed. Coverage with a 40lb bag for a 120g aquarium was good as I prefer a shallow sand bed (when I am not bare-bottom).Do not be confused as this is a dry product. If you wish to pay for water for your sand, buy the "live sand". I would rather pay for the sand than water.

Was not live sand. Shipped dry. Live sand is in salt water.

It said live sand when I purchased. This sand is dry and not alive. not much pink either.. grain size is good.

I thought I was ordering "live sand" because of the name CaribSea Arag-Alive. It does not actually say Arag-Alive anywhere on the bag. It is dry and definetly not "live sand". I will end up keeping it, because at 40lbs it would be a pain to send back.

Did not have as much pink coloration as I was hoping for!Basically just an off white sand really.Sorry to the USPS lady who had to haul the 40lb bag to our door! Ouch. Gotta love Amazon Prime!

Looks great, multi-colored and not as small as sand grains. Used 1 bag for a 45 gallon tank and it gave me 1 - 1.5 inches of base.

Good texture and coral for your reef or saltwater tank.

This is not fiji pink.There isn't not one flake of pink or red in it.I don't who trying to pull a fast one here.Don't buy it!
