Dynasty Canned Whole Water Chestnuts, 8-Ounce (Pack of 12)

Refreshing crispy and delicious. However, warning, it is in a BPA-free liner which is great but it comes in the mail obviously hot. From being shipped from state to state. I recommend putting them in the refrigerator for a few hours otherwise it's going to be mushy and hot when you first eat them. But they are excellent in the refrigerator. So refreshing and juicy I seriously just eat him out of the can and rent them off

Product is nice and crisp and fairly uniform in size. Since I wrap them in bacon, uniformity helps, especially when serving them for appetizers

I've been looking for whole water chestnuts and I've had to order them through Amazon because they're not in the stores where I live. I've tried La Choy brand but Dynasty is by far the better product. The size is more consistent and there are no "duds" in the can. I'd recommend this product.

Whole water chestnuts. Light crisp texture as expected. One of the reviewers were dismayed that this has citric acid. I guess they were looking for a brand without it. The label in the product picture says water chestnuts and water as the ingredients. I just want to say that my cans list ingredients as "water chestnuts, water, and citric acid". I have no issue with that, but figured I would mention it. All else looks the same.Good flavor, texture, no issues or concerns at this time. I sliced them up into a noodle bowl

IF you like water chestnuts, these will be fine in heavily sauced stir fries. They do have a metallic taste from the can, but that’s to be expected. Water chestnuts are crunchy, so if you don’t like that texture, you won’t like these whole. If you’re iffy on them, you might try sliced ones instead.

I couldn’t find these in store for whatever reason. These saved the day. Shipped fast. These were smaller than I prefer to buy but they were a good quality. I would purchase again a long as the price stayed reasonable.

For some reason you can no longer find whole water chestnuts in the grocery store. This has been an issue for several years now. I live in the South, maybe not a problem up north. I have had to order them online for my famous Rumake appetizers that my friends enjoy. I needed them quickly so I ordered a different brand. The Dynasty brand had more chestnuts per can but were smaller. At first I was bummed, but I now prefer them better than the other brand that had larger and fewer chestnuts. It is a good thing since I ordered a case! And yes, it is a 5 oz can is a product of China.

Exactly what I needed to create the always wanted and appreciated bacon covered snacks during Christmas.
