Silver Oxide - Less damaging to your equipment than Alkaline
So far, I haven't found a silver oxide button battery that I like better than these Energizer Multi-Drain. A multi-drain battery is designed to perform well regardless of whether it is used in a high-current-demand situation, or a very low current long-life situation.I use these for both. I have a couple of tiny flashlights that use these, and they consistently outperform other batteries in this somewhat high drain application. I also collect old engineering equipment (such as vintage calculators), that take these size batteries. Here, they last a LONG time. MORE IMPORTANTLY, I can leave them installed in my precious collectors' items, and -- unlike alkalines -- they WON'T LEAK. This ALONE makes them worth the increased cost!
