Hard to install
solid product looks great took four hours to install. installed on 1990 YJ

Decent quality, a bit pricey.
Installation on my 89' YJ took longer than expected due to poor quality of instructions, and in order to install the front bracket you have to be either able to reach behind the dashboard to screw back on the nuts, or take the dashboard off entirely fortunately I have a 10 year old brother who was willing to help me out with that for $10.00. the rack looks great, but I couldn't get the back right corner to square up perfectly so it gas a slight angle at the joint. Crossbars were a pain to get on and I was actually afraid they would bend, had to go back and loosen all the brackets so it would slide more freely, but still had to force them a bit more than I would have liked. Looks cool though, a bit pricey but overall seems a decent product. I'll update after Ive spent some months with my kayaks on the roof. After about a year with the racks, I can say I am happy with the quality. No problems with 2-3 kayaks squeezed up there. 10/10 product.

Very Nice
This rack is very legit for the money... Was fairly easy to install... Front windshield nuts on the back behind the dash are a pain to get to but I was able to get to them and I'm a big dude.... Definitely need 2 people get it while you can!!!!

Very Disappointed.
I have a 1994 Jeep Wrangler S. Amazon said this would fit my jeep...well...it does NOT FIT!! And its heavy so now I have a huge piece of junk that is probably going to cost me an arm and a leg to send back.I will probably sell at a loss online to whoever will pick it up.

Good Quality, A Few Issues
Good quality, but a couple of caveats on install and design.Install was much more difficult that I expected because my 93 YJ upper windshield frame hinge bolts have non-captive nuts. These nuts are behind the dash. So I had to partially remove the dash. And of course there were the usual old fastners that did not want to come out. Instructions dont mention this issue.Door hinge bolts. The original bolts have conical heads, so they self center the hinge. The new bolts do not, so if a hinge slips out of position, its much harder to realign and get it to stay there.Cross bar bolts. These bolts come with knobs that serve as nuts. I assume the intent is to allow the cross bars to be repositioned easily, but an allen wrench is required to do that. Why have a one tooless fitting, but require a tool on the bolt? Design makes no sense to me. Even worse, this assembly tends to loosen due to road vibration. I replaced with allen head bolts and nylocks.Good quality build.

The product is awesome. Sadly
The product is awesome.Sadly, mine arrived damaged, but that was the fault of UPS. It was literally drug up the sidewalk in pieces, and the box was almost gone. I returned it, but I'll definitely order another one soon.

Bolt lengths...
Instructions are pretty vague. but once you get it, it goes together pretty quick. From previous reviews of the product I went ahead and dropped my windshield as as well as removed my dash. Pretty quick if you have the right tools. After this I was able to reach the nuts for the windshield bolts. I recommend planning ahead and getting everything you might want to change or fix out of the way while you have the dash removed. With two other hands it is pretty simple and quick. I finished my project which included drilling out one of the original windshield bolts, speakers, dash wiring etc. in 4 hrs. I recommend you being prepared to have a friend or in my case, wife, to help out. 4 hands were much better than two.Once downfall... The upper and side bar bolts are too short. They need to be another quarter of an inch longer. You will see what I am talking about if you purchase this. I am gonna take them out and swap them for longer ones to insure they lock good and tight.

Rack is versital
Sold as a TJ rack. Purchased and modified 1980 CJ7 tail bumper attach points to mount. Bolted to front windshield and door posts no problem. Used 2 of the 3 cross members and it rocks. Used last cross member on roof rack I have on my '12 JK.
