GuinnessMen's Gray and Black Ivy

My hat size is 7 1/8 - 7 1/4. The only size available for this cap at the time of my order was L/XL - after reading reviews I took a shot and hoped I could get the cap to fit. Luckily, the hat fits very well as delivered with my hair cut short (about 2 inches long) and I normally wear a medium hat. It surprised me this hat is labeled a L/XL. This cap’s sizing is definitely smaller than standard fitted sizing for hats. Quality is very good with the fabric being 70% poly, 23% cotton, 7% wool and the appearance of a hat twice the price plus I really like how it looks/feels on my head. I’ve watched several YouTube videos explaining techniques to make hats smaller or larger for a custom fit. I made the bill of the cap more round so it fits snug to my temples. Next, I will put my cap in my truck on a warm day to shrink it just a bit to get a custom fit for my head. Definitely a great buy if you can get it to fit comfortably.

The quality is spectacular and not nearly as great as I thought it would be, this is no cheap target hat and well worth the price. The fit was perfect for my big Scottish head. Highly recommend this classy flat cap for those that appreciate style and looking smart.

I bought this hat as a gift for my grandfather, but I think it was a bit too small for him and he noticed some minor defect that bothered him (the hat isn't perfectly symmetrical in the front).I was going to send it back, but when I tried it on, I decided to keep it for myself. I've been wearing this hat quite a bit the past few months and have gotten several complements on it, and no one aside from my gramps has ever noticed the asymmetry, even when I pointed it out to them.So if you're pretty particular, you may not want this hat. Also, if you have a large head, you may find it fits pretty tight.

Giving this 3 stars cause it's a good looking hat . . . but for me, it's too tight and I have to return. I ordered the L/XL, and it's far too snug on my head. I wear a 7 3/8" in a baseball hat, so my melon isn't that large . . . but I think this would work for someone that wears a 7 1/4" max.

Great hat. Has a good look and it well made. Only issue is I think it runs a bit on the small side. I usually have enough room with the l/xl, but this is pretty snug. It fits....barely.

This is my favorite cap It fits and feels and looks so good. out of all the Guinness hats available this one in my opinion (so far) is the best one you can buy.

This hat fits my husband perfectly and arrived fast for Christmas. It looks exactly as pictured and has nice cushioning inside for the head. Great product!

I wear a 7 1/8 hat. I ordered the lg/xl cap and it was super tight. I returned it for credit. I should have gotten a refund on my card instead of credit but that's Amazon.
