You NEED this for your child
So I wanted a map of the U.S. puzzle for my three year old who is starting to ask about where people live and why things are near or far. I wanted something that was well made, educational, and (ideally) colorful.I. Was. Floored. When I got this in the mail. It's beautiful! The colors are pretty, the entire board is magnetic, as are the backs of all pieces, and the pieces are about 3/8" thick and will hold up to some toddler abuse.It's also very reasonably priced. Knowing what I do now, I would have gladly paid double for this puzzle. This is going on the short list for awesome gift ideas. So happy with this purchase!

Who knew state geography could be so fun!
Excellent quality! I bought this for my 3.5 year old who has been asking lots of questions about where we and our friends and family live. She was immediately drawn to this with the bright colors and pictures on each state. She loves that it is magnetic. We talk about the state and the pictures on each piece, leading to some fun conversations....for example, flying saucers and little green men in Arizona.The pieces fit together nicely. The small eastern seaboard states are somewhat consolidated/grouped, but I don't see a way around that. This is one toy that will be in our house for years to come.

Great quality map that makes it fun for a toddler to learn the states
I got this map for my toddler. This map is a pretty good size and it’s well made. Really like the fact that it’s magnetic. My 3 and 1/2 year old has been enjoying this puzzle map and has been learning his states. He now knows where most states go and also their names.

Base: geography map and the states go on top. Really good.
Much smaller than the world map they make. That one doubles as eye catching kids room decor. This one doesn't. Still, well made. I think this is the best way for kids to learn the US States.

absolutely awesome US map
This magnetic US puzzle is just awesome! My family has had several different puzzles of the US and they were all really awkward ands hard to keep together. All of the frustration is totally eliminates because the pieces sick very well to the board and also to each other. If you need to move have I'd the state over a but to squeeze in Nebraska, no problem. Everything will move as one unit and will not come apart. The puzzle pieces have the state and capital printed on all and some states alao have pictures of items showing what the state in known for. Great piece for teaching your children about the US.

The best map of the USA for practicing states and capitals that I could find.
My fifth grader is learning states and capitals, and I ordered this map to help her practice. It is worth the higher price compared to other map puzzles! Each state has its own piece (the tiny states' pieces extend into the ocean so they don't get lost immediately). They feel and look high quality, and the magnetic board helps them stay in place. Highly recommend.I do think it is somewhat ironic that I had to look to France in order to find a truly high quality map of the USA.
