Lifebuoy Total Soap 90g (Pack of 12)

I work as a mechanic I come home dirty and greasy, this soap gets me clean and I feel clean. One other advantage that none of the other reviews mentioned this soap doesn't slip off the wall-soap shelf in the shower. I even wash my hair with it and my hair looks and feels the same as using shampoo. As a guy that gets extremely dirty and washes his hands 20 times a day I can tell it's a much stronger soap the way it just gets my hands cleaner than any other bar soap. I will buy it again.

This product is not 100% of the old Lifebouy but it is close!! Leaver Bros. stopped making this soap years ago. Why? I don't know, but this is close. The odor does not linger as the old Lifebouy. I don't think any soap made will be exactly like the old Lifebouy unless Leaver Bros. start to produce it again but, this is close!! I enjoy this soap and have ordered some more. Thank you for your fast delivery!!!! ANOTHER ORDER THIS MONTH 10/2014.Will order some more when this is gone unless Leaver Bros. start to make it again. I understand that, in South Africa, you can buy Lifebouy every where!!! Wonder if this is true?? Wonder who makes it in South Africa??

I used to use this soap a while ago. In fact, I think I grew up on it. I finally googled it and low and behold, of course, Amazon had it. This was a good price for what I got and it works just like long ago. A bar lasts a long time and the scent is as refreshing as I remember.

When I think of Lifebuoy, three characteristics stand out:1) The unique medicinal scent of the soap2) The color of the bar (it should be a salmony/reddish color)3) The shape of the bar, there should be no corners, but be more of an elongated octagonal shape.Unfortunately, this bar does not share any of those characteristics. It smells like any other soap, pleasant, kind of sweet and clean, but none of the medicinal scent which is associated with the brand. The color is closer to a dark bubble gum and bluish, rather than that nice rich salmony color I described earlier, and it is just a generic rectangular bar shape.Now mind you; there is nothing wrong with the soap. If you like Coast, Blue Dial, or any of those other regular drugstore brands, it's fine. However, when a person purchases Lifebuoy, they do so with certain expectations.While it is not a bad purchase, I am just disappointed, especially with the scent.

The anti bacterial soap is excellent for use on my grands so it keeps bug bites off of him , all summer while he was participating in summer camp outdoors.
