Vera Wang - Queen Blanket, Luxury Cotton Bedding, Super Soft Essentials with Waffle Weave Knit (Waffleweave White, Queen)

Hands down the BEST all cotton blanket you can buy, especially for the price. Thick solid cotton, soft and snuggly and not too warm but keeps you warm. Yes, it's 100% cotton, so, of course there will be lint in your dryer...it's an ALL NATURAL fiber and it does shrink some. I bought a king for my queen bed and went back and bought a twin to have on my sofa to cover up. Excellent blanket

I chose to use the Vera Wang waffle King blankets with the Vera Wang all cotton luxury pillow cases, to spring out our Primary Bedroom for the spring and summer, and these items do not disappoint in all aspects.The aesthetic is obsessive,(I am obsessed!). The comfort is refreshing, and perfect for keeping climate temperature while sleeping. The only downfall I can point out is that it can easily get snagged. We have big dogs and they should not get on the bed, but they do sneak on while my husband and i sleep, and their nails get caught in the waffle patterns and snag the blanket.Since not many people have this issue, it is not really a problem, but if you are looking for a dog snag proof durability blanket, yet still boujee, this waffle blanket may not be right for you.However I am still getting a couple more of these for guests and gifts, because i adore them along with the quality and looks.*Picture 2 may be deceiving because I added a throw blanket that is not the Vera Wang, I should have showcased more of the Vera Wang Blanket, but I am horrible at photography, and the details that should be entailed*

Purchased twice. First one had such poor stitching I returned immediately (loose threads all over, lines in the middle of the pattern). They do look nice and feel heavy but never got to use either one. Second one looked okay in terms of quality so I was going to keep it. Stuck in washer and dryer on delicate. Had to clear my dryer vent 3 times, it produced so much lint I could have made a hand towel (see other reviewer pic). Then put it back on bed and it didn't even cover the edges. What a waste of time.

First, if you complained about lint, then you don't understand natural fiber. This has a lot of lint because it is cotton, a natural fiber. I have washed it twice, and there is a lot of lint left behind. This is normal and to be expected. If it didn't, you should assume it is not natural! It is also very soft and fits wonderfully. It did shrink a bit, but I bought a king on purpose for my queen bed. See photo. It is heavy enough that you can't see your hand through it like other cheaper brands I have tried. Also, yes, expect a few threads (it's waffle weave!), but I trimmed them and nothing to worry about! This is lovely!

Where I live, it has been so hot! I've wanted a cotton blanket for a few weeks. What I was using is fine in the winter but in the summer, it's too warm (fleece). I saw this exact blanket at Home Goods for $45.00 and I almost bought it but it had a huge snag. I was able to feel the texture and see how it was woven. Luckily, I was able to find it on Amazon. Following other reviews, I ordered a king for my queen bed. I knew there would be shrinkage. I washed it per the instructions. I put it in the dryer on low. Every 15 minutes, I cleaned out the lint trap. Yes, it was full every single time. The blanket it cotton so I expected that. After over an hour in the dryer, it still was damp. I finished drying it on medium heat for the last 20-25 minutes. It probably did shrink some, I need to measure it to confirm.Pros: Mine was well made, no snags. The cotton breathes so I don't get overheated while sleeping. It looks nice on my bed.Cons: I use a top sheet and I can feel the waffle weave texture through the sheet, especially on my legs/feet. The first night was annoying but I'm getting used to it. If I would have known this, I probably would have gotten a herringbone or basket weave pattern. Even thought my blanket was brand new, when I opened the zipper package, there was dirt on it! I spot treated it with Tide and then washed it. Now it's fine. It's not the softest blanket in the world. Maybe over time and more washings, that will change.Overall I do like the blanket. Mainly because I've been staying cooler through the night. I have a small dog who sleeps at the foot of my bed so it's inevitable that he will snag it!

My only qualm- It doesn't wash up so great- slight pillingeven with the slight pilling though, this quilt maintains its waffle texture. honestly, the slight pilling somehow made it softer. I also really like the heft of it. It is light weight compared to an actual quilt but still heavy enough so you don't feel exposed while sleeping.

This is a lovely blanket- I have bought 2, sincerely hoping that adjustments had been made since I bought the first. Once washed the Queen is a full size and the King is a Queen size. I have bought both!They do produce a freakish amount of lint- so there’s that also.

This is the third one I have bought. Its very well made and beautiful. The only downside is that it runs a little small. I would still buy it again. I have given them to my granddaughters.
