Over the last 20 years I've probably bought 25 different pairs of gloves. This includes multiple taekwondo sparring gloves (the plastic ones), bag mitts, muay thai / boxing sparring gloves and pad gloves, MMA gloves, and more.For padwork, I normally use 12 ounce gloves, though have had a few 10 ounce sets in the past that were good for pads and sparring.For these Starpro gloves I opted for 12 ounce.I took them to my boxing class tonight to try them out. I let my friend Joe test them for a few rounds to get his opinion on them too and we both agreed about what we liked and did not like etc.Quality wise, the gloves are really good. Stitching looks solid and the inner lining doesn't stick to your hands too much. There was sufficient space for my hands after putting wraps on too.There are few things to point out though.Depending on what for you look for in gloves, these could be viewed as positive or negative.* There is a lot of padding at the front/top of the gloves* The gloves are a little short in the wrist area (certainly when compared to my Venom gloves which are also 12 ounce)* For 12 oz gloves, I thought these gloves were light; noticably lighter than my Venoms* The velco strap is a little short, so once I've wrapped my hands and put the gloves on, the strap does not go all the way aroundConsidering what I've paid for these gloves, I am extremely happy. In the past I've paid twice the price for gloves of similar quality.I like the padding in the gloves at the front and the fact they're lightweight. The main area it falls short in comparison to my Venom's is the total length of the gloves. I would have liked them to be a little longer to cover my wrist more. This was the main thing my friend Joe commented on too. He said they felt a little shorter than what he expected.Again, this is perhaps a personal thing as some other experienced boxers in the class have gloves that are even shorter.All in all, I'm happy. For the price these gloves are an absolute bargain and I have no doubt they will last years.

These gloves are great value for money and for the price you get a decent a pair of boxing gloves. They are good fit, I went for 12oz gloves because I wanted something light for bag work and pads. I would definitely recommend these for beginners, or if your looking for a decent pair of gloves for bag work. They are good fit and the velcro is easy to do up. Overall I really like how thru felt when hitting the bags.

An unbelievable pair of gloves at a very low cost, i brought the 14 oz gloves to help me with my sparring to get ready for my upcoming fights, fits my hands perfectly compared to some leading brands on the market, they are that comfy I will be using them for my next fight, the design allows the gloves to dry quickly after use, nothing worst than getting some gloves that don’t dry inside in time for the next sparring session.

Look great, feel great. Size as expected

I recently started MMA and these gloves were suggested to me by a good friend of mine who has been doing MMA for a few years and he also owns these particular gloves.These gloves are quite nice for hitting pads and the bag. I haven't done much sparring yet, since I am quite new to MMA. I did some light sparring but its not really possible to tell much from that.The price is fairly competitive, there are lots of gloves at this price point, which makes it very difficult to choose from them. I personally bought these on the recommendation from my friend. These are cheaper than the ones I saw in sports direct, and the feel just as good in my opinion.Amazon has an excellent delivery system, so I would recommend you try them and if you're not happy, you could always return them.If you found my review helpful, please hit that helpful button to let me know. :)

Perfect for muay thai and boxing training and sparring, bot really as good for fighting at you would want little padding for fighting however these are perfect for training lots of padding which helps prevent injury leading up to fights, also has a good air flow which is always nice 👍

just what i needed as i have recently started boxing classes they fit amazing , nice and snug and the feel super comfortable !!! so far so good they are holding up well and they seem to be nice and durable, they also do nice colour variations !!! could ask for more at this price this is a no brainer i tell ya !!!
