Some roots were overgrown , but easily k t managed.

GREAT product. I planted the plugs about 3 weeks ago and they have nearly filled in all the bare spots in my lawn. I live in the AZ desert and don't have a lot of grass but none the less was concerned about the heat and dry weather -- no problem. I followed the instructions provided and watered every day for 2 weeks. then switched to every other day and will continue with that for the next week or so. The plugs have taken root and are healthy. My lawn looks GREAT!!!!!! I would recommend Zoysia Grass for anyone who needs to re-sod their lawn. Very pleased!!!!!

Unlike some mail order grass plugs, this product arrived very green and separated into individual plug cups, making removal and planting easy.

Packed well and dirt still moist upon arrival. All plugs are growing. Only downside is cost.

I used it in a number of places where it has been difficult to grow grass because of dry and partial shade conditions. Just put them in this year around 1 August, and 90+% have taken and are spreading slightly. I am in Zone 7 about 50 miles from the Atlantic Ocean.I will be purchasing more next spring (2020) to fill in.
