Superb - fitted to my Yamaha YZFR - Had to use a foam block to raise the mount above the key in the ignition but itās working fine and acts as added security blocking the key from being taken out without removing the phone first š

Poor quality fixings
Flimsy and poor overall. Locking pin screw snapped while tightened, luckily it's fixed but won't be able to remove without breaking the strap. Disappointed, thought Spigen was better.

Secure locking mechanism but mounting strap could be improved
Generally this is a good item but itās also easy to se why there have been some negative reviews. Itās good in a way that a plastic strap and worm gear are employed in terms of not marking your bike. However, thereās a fine line between tightening the strap up so it grips and overtightening it so the plastic detents strip. This is compounded by the fact that initially to release the phone from the locking mechanism you have to press hard. As a consequence pushing the release tends to make the mount move out of alignment. The release becomes easier with repeated use and is less of a problem. Additionally if your handle bar stem is tapered and not concentric itās very difficult to screw in enough to grip and I had to use a wedge as per photo to stabilise it and get enough tension. The other criticism levelled against this mount is that the self adhesive phone case adapter becomes unstuck causing phones to fall off and get damaged. The backing is actually good 3M tape and Iād say if it comes loose either the surface of the phone is too rough or hasnāt been cleaned properly prior to affixing the adapter. It would probably be a good idea if Spigen included an isopropyl alcohol wipe in the kit.On the whole apart from the questionable robustness of the mounting strap and the omission of an alcohol wipe being included this is a good product. The latching mechanism is very secure and well designed allowing portrait and landscape mounting and it is a small discrete item. In terms of cost these are much cheaper than the Quadlock and Mous equivalents and do a similar job nearly as well so Iām giving it a thumbs up with the exception of the two caveats mentioned

Sturdy, reliable and stable.
The media could not be loaded. Use this device daily on my mountain bike. Video included is footage of me jumping, with my phone secured in this mount. As you can see the stability and sturdiness are second to none, including during minor crashes/bike rollovers. Much much much better than the competition, and the only truly universal phone mount as far as I know due to the sticky back case mount. Really can't recommend this enough!

Brilliant and nice looking
Very nice looking, easy to attach the pad to the back of phone and simple to attach to bike, sturdy and strong, push and twist to lock and unlock ,would definitely recommend and purchase again if needed,

Locking mechanism does the release
The instructions were really unclear, but I managed to get it installed on the stem of my bike. Attatched the universal adaptor to my phone case, that all went well. Locked the case in - and now it absolutely will not come off again. The ārelease leverā doesnāt actually appear to move/do anything, and i cannot get the mechanism to budge⦠so now my phone case is stuck to my bike and I will just have to put my phone into it every time, and buy a new case for the rest of the time. Not really what I wanted and considering the price it isnāt exactly great.
