It is his favorite book, which I let him look at after ...
Oh, this book is precious. I have a Brazilian boy in my second-grade ESL class. It is his favorite book, which I let him look at after he has done sufficient work on his assignments. It is also very fun for me since I speak Spanish and many words are similar or even the same. My student is my Portuguese "teacher" and helps me with his beautiful pronunciation. I love it!!

Great for kids and early readers
This is really great, I bought the mini dictionary and was disappointed. This one has phonetics so my child could read the pronunciation and it was very close, very helpful. Really love this book.

Great
Pages are thin but the book is really good. The pictures are great. Not really for babies though.

It is her husband's second language and he says it's a great book to start with and easy for the child ...
My friend is using this little book to teach her little one of two Portuguese. It is her husband's second language and he says it's a great book to start with and easy for the child to memorize and learn from.

This book is Brazilian Portuguese
We wanted a traditional Portuguese language book. We loved the book's use of photos and is very helpful, but there is definitely a difference with certain words and there needs to be a disclosure on this book.

Great for learning but rips easily
Love this book but wish it was made better or even made as a board book. I use this to teach my daughter but she is 16 months and has already ripped out a few pages 😕

Good book for Brazilian Portuguese
I am from Brazil and I am introducing Portuguese to son. I loved this book!I would change some words like “lama” to “terra” or “solo”. The meaning of the word “lama” would be “mud” not “dirt”.
