Very easy to setup and user friendly. Although it is partially loud, it definitely does the job. Turn't my room from a humid desert to a cool beach. Very happy.

This replaced my 20 year old home office unit, subsequently promoted to our bedroom, which needed the water emptying very frequently (during the night on hot/humid days!) So far, there has been zero condensed water in this unit. Plus it really does blast out cold air, on demand. The remote control works well, and "SHE" who owns and operates all remote control devices, is happy and "in control".This looked the best performance/price option on Amazon - not super powerful and not too expensive. For an A/C unit for a smaller bedroom in a UK summer, this ticks the boxes for me. I might have stretched to 5*, but "Made in China" killed that idea.

If you're a person who cannot handle the heat this is the aircon for you deliver yesterday day I set it up and I could not believe how fast it called down the room I think this machine is excellent and 100% recommend it I have had add air conditioning before one.is the best up to now brilliant machine and very affordable

I’ve had this product now for 3x Northern UK “summers”. I live in a typical 3 bed semi and 7000 BTU power does the job cooling the main bedroom down (is probably the lowest you should aim for in this type of house).My main gripe with this unit is that I can’t always keep it on all night because it’s so loud. And if I put it on a sleep timer, the click when it powers off wakes me up.My bedroom windows open at the top and the packaged rigid hose on this is far too small to reach so I had to buy a 3rd party flexible hose. It fits fine and had no issues using it (sometimes it feels very hot but it’s a dryer hose so it should be able to cope with high temperatures).I bought this unit when it was on offer and used a gift voucher I got from work so it worked out a good price, defo got my moneys worth from it but there’s no doubt better and quieter choices out there.

I’ve had a few home air con units and they’ve never been great so my expectations were low due to this being cheaper than previous ones. Pleasantly surprised when it cooled the whole upstairs of my 3 bedroom house down in less than an hour. Very happy with this!

Brought this unit to replace my old sealey air conditioning unit that gave up after many many years.Im really disappointed the unit is unbelievably noisy! Im no stranger to AC units and the noise and vibration but this one is next level it makes the floor vibrate so bad it vibrates drinks cans of my desk.And can be heard throught the entire house even tried putting it on foam to reduce tue floor vibration.PositivesIt cools well to 18'c in a medium size room cant complain with that and is simple to operate. The directional vents are nice but only adjust left and right not up and down aswell. The remote control is nice and simple to operateThe timer is a nice feature however i run it constant whilst trying to sleep during the day (i work nights)In my honest opinion i wish i had not brought this particular unit. And gone for another sealey

Used it all summer kept us very cool. When we left the room it felt like we had just left an aeroplane as you could feel the difference in temperatures. Our room temperature dropped to 18c when it was 30c outside.

I had a similar unit for many years, albeit under a different brand (they're all manufactured in the same warehouse and shipped over here).This is the same unit with a couple of design feature changes.The dehumidifying function of this new unit doesn't work at all, either with the internal water tank or external hoses. After a week of +30°C temps and high humidity, there's not even been a single drip!Noise-wise it is the same as the old unit it was purchase to replace, which I can sleep through.With ear-plugs (which I use anyway, to help with sleep apnoea) it's almost inaudible.But it does vibrate much more than the older unit and I can appreciate how, in some circumstances, this could irritate some users.The humidity which not under control is a greater problem than the noise that is.
