These are fabulous! I have nothing to compare these to because I've never had chocolate covered espresso beans before but these taste really good. Definitely recommended!

I love chocolate covered coffee (espresso) beans. These were delicious and definitely kept me awake when narcolepsy was gnawing at me. The dark chocolate meshed well with the espresso bean. They are quite addicting. I recommend only taking a few at a time, because they do give quite a punch of energy. I could feel my heart racing if I took too many. I definitely plan on purchasing these again in the near future. Maybe as a winter treat. I do not like coffee but I enjoy these because the chocolate gives the bean a different flavor. I highly recommend the Sweet Gourmet Dark Chocolate Espresso Coffee beans especially if you like the taste of bittersweet chocolate with a kick of energy.

Other reviews talk about how it was packaged with cold packs to prevent the melting. That didn't happen with my order. It solidified into a brick. Can't snack on a brick. I had a hard time opening it.

I purchased these for my wife this past Valentine's Day (she loves dark chocolate and coffee...so this was a no-brainer), and all-in-all, I'm more than satisfied with the purchase. The chocolate is pretty good, not too terribly bitter like some of the dark chocolate out there. The coffee beans aren't bad either, although I was expecting a bit more of an espresso bite, but maybe that's because they're not burned (as another reviewer mentioned). Regardless of what I thought of them, my wife loved them, so I'm happy with both the quality and price here.

Came double padded packaged, to keep cold in from the two white cold packs. Arrived nicely chilled. The candies themselves were in perfect condition. Tasted great, looked great. Arrived in clear package, unlike the picture, and not resealable. Not a problem here, because I refill a small purse container, and gallon ziploc bags ARE indeed a thing.HAPPY CAMPER!!!

I bought these chocolate expresso beans as a mix-in to my Chocolate Expresso Ice Cream that I make. Upon reading some of the reviews, others mentioned the package was wrapped very well and didn't melt as there was a cold-pack inside. That's one of the reasons I bought from Sweet Gourmet, but I didn't get my expectations up, just in case they no longer shipped in that manner. I was preparing myself for disappointment, but couldn't find these in any store and had to buy online. It was 98 degrees in CA today and my chocolates arrived. I'm writing to thank Sweet Gourmet for wrapping them not once, not twice, but three times! Included in the innermost wrap was a little cool pack--not big--just enough to keep them from melting. If this is what quality customer service is, I'm sold. I was really anticipating a big blob of melted chocolate all lumped together in the package--far from from it. They're perfect. Thank you!
