We’ve had this gate for over two years, and it’s proven to be both incredibly sturdy and well-built. It complements our stair rails perfectly and provides peace of mind as an added layer of defense to prevent our British Shorthair indoor cat from making an escape. While it is quite heavy, it’s surprisingly easy to open and close. The weight not only ensures stability but also reflects the durability and quality of the hardwearing wood it’s made from.

Great product, arrived on time. It is so much easier than a gate that is attached/pressure attached to the wall and I can move it into another room or another part of the room when I want to. It also folds up neatly and props up against a wall, behind a cupboard or sofa when not needed. The gate is high enough to prevent my 6 month labrador puppy from even attempting to jump over it and she hasn't tried to push it over or squeeze around the side - I am happy it works well for us. It is not 100% stable - there is a slight wobble in it if you try to rock it with your hand but has never fallen over and nor do I think it will - it is probably because I have it on the edge of a carpet and rug (so a slight uneven surface). Definitely recommend - its expensive but well made and a game changer for us!

really liked the colour, finish and quality. its pretty easy to move so if you havent got it up against something an animal could move it by repeatedly bashing into it I guess. Fortunately we can rest ours on each side against a protruding windowsill which keeps it in place. Perfect for us but it is fairly easy for a large dog to push just in case.

Found a huge crack when I first unpacked the item. After feedback to the seller by Amazon message, a prompt and courteous service was provided by the seller who immediately sent a new item (without defects) to me for replacement. The overall quality is good. For other buyers’ information, sending email to the customer service (suggested by a notice packed with the item) is a bad idea because no one will reply it.

Great temporary pet gate.Love the double hinges which allow each section to move in any direction - we put it in place and are able to use the side sections as gates from either side. Folds flat for storage/transport.Great that it needs no assembly other than to slip the two support feet in place (although it can be used without as even a slight Z position means it stands independently).Nicely finished (we chose the grey version) and looks so much better than a metal gate.It's not quite sturdy enough to stop a large dog from moving it, but it is meant to be a temporary gate and would be perfect for training (ie as a signal the dog is not allowed in that area). We got it to prevent our cats from using the wrong area of the utility room as a litter tray and it works great for that purpose, especially as they can see through but can't pass though the wooden slats. It signals that they shouldn't be in that area and I feel the slight lack of solidity means they are deterred from trying to climb or jump it.Definitely worth the money.Very pleased with this pet gate.

This is beautifully made and a lovely colour...however...we bought this as we were getting a 8 week old golden retriever and we wanted to block a section of the kitchen off at night (and we didn’t want to use a crate). We used it for the first 3 nights and each night he was able to move it and get out. So, unfortunately I have to give it 1 star. If you were to use it to, maybe block off a Christmas tree etc it’s lovely but for a pet gate, it didn’t work for us!

Great product, use primarily to fence in dog at night in his bed but works well as a stair gate as its very sturdy.

I got this to enable me to have my back door open to the garden, but keeping my dogs in the house. After trial and error with the feet panels, I managed to get the perfect balance that means my dogs cannot knock it over, and they are both Rotties so that is saying something. I can also angle it so they do not attempt to jump over it. No work required - just unpack, find the best placing for the feet and that’s it! The grey colour looks quite classy. Slightly pricey, but well worth it.
