I received this a few days ago. Well like my title says, it's nice strong and curved, I like that. But it flakes big time, and the tip of the bottom came off of one so far. So I'll use them for what they are until I can't anymore. I bought other ones I like, I'll write a review on those after a while just in case they start flaking off to. When I read about the other diane curved in the big pack and people saying that they flake off, I thought these might be different. Nope. So I bought some other ones today, I hope those work. They are curved like these and have good reviews. I'm just disappointed that these aren't better.Update:I changed my stars from 1 star to 4 stars. Even though the paint does come off, these are very strong. I use them for buns all the time. the small bobby pins just don't do the trick anymore, So instead of using 4 or 5 to do the same thing, a bun, I use 1 for the top bun with my hair in a ponytail using a ponytail elastic, and two for a low bun without a elastic and it stay in all night. So it does what I need it to do. I would buy these again because of that fact. I didn't know how long these would last, so that's the reason for the update. I haven't used the straight ones that much, so when I do then I'll be writing a review. I mainly use the curved ones.

OK, bobby pins are nothing to get excited about. But these are GREAT! I have waist length hair that I usually wear up. I've had to use so many bobby pins over the years and they always fall out and get lost. These are the best pins I've ever had, it's because they are curved. It only takes 3 of the to hold up all my hair. And they stay in until I take them out. Get These!!!

I love Rolling my hair into tight curls at night and these bobby pins do the trick!! Love it!

The end points of the Bobby pin (small balls) break off easily. Especially when using your mouth to separate the bars.

Very sturdy. I prefer to use larger Bobbie pins for work since I have to wear a hair net and have long hair. These work well and the slight curve is comfortable.

A friend needed them for her mother in law who is in a nursing home and she said they worked perfect

have only used a couple of times, find they do not hold very well, I have quite thick hair so maybe that is the problem

Exactly as expected. Pins hold well and delivery was quick. I found it difficult to find these longer bobby pins in retail stores and of course was able to easily find them at Amazon. Thank you very much.

Buyer beware. There is a reason for this sale price. All but 3 pins are unusable as the black paint has rubbed off in large sections revealing the silver metal beneath. Looks terrible

These are great bobby pins! I’ve always had issues with others in the past bending out of shape but these stay the same after multiple uses. I like that they are longer because it seems to keep the hair more secure.

The curved design of these pins is fantastic. They work great for securing my bun all day at work. I have very long hair and use 5 of these to secure my bun in place and it holds all day.
