I like this book and I am using it a secondary reference for a general entomology course I am developing.

Purchased this text for an entomology course. The keys in the book are pretty good at identifying most insects to family but there are some keys that are missing. Pretty complete and not that expensive. I would recommend.UPDATE: There were more typos than I originally thought (ex: some keys loop/have improper numbering but the error can usually be identified quickly and fixed by the reader [ie- I wrote a lot of corrections in the key in my personal copy]). Still a useful book at the price which allows you to ID most insects to family. Pictures are usually pretty good (line drawings accompanying keys) and are useful when working with the keys. In the general entomology class I took the professor occasionally supplemented the text with other keys (ex: we used a different the hymenoptera key).

This book was required for an entomology course. I originally rented it, but decided to buy it due to it being extremely useful. Has dichotomous key to identify insects to family. I will probably use this for the rest of my life.

Great Condition. Exactly as advertised. Glad I was able to find this textbook at this price. Only concern is that Phylogenetic Family names not updated in the back page, but that is due to the book- not the vendor. Would order from this vendor again. :)

This book is incredibly dense with terms, but you get a great understanding of insects. Has a nice variety of information on insects.

This is a superior camera. I am fighting with the wifi but other than that I love the camera, lenses, weight, quality of the pictures. The focus speed is so fast.

I got this text book because of a class I am taking at UW. It is required for the class. I save about $30.00 buying it here. The book came quickly, and was in great condition.
