Size, thick padding, comfortable, sturdy, could not say enough excellent things about this mat.

Like some that have reviewed it, I first used an Airex mat at a hotel gym. One use and I knew I needed to get one for home! (They're quite pricey so I used the Amazon CC offer to help offset the cost.) This mat works great for me since anything that puts pressure on my knees hurts and typical yoga mats didn't have enough cushion. No problem with that now! For standing moves, it's not quite as stable as a regular mat since it's so thick. For me, this is a bonus since I get in extra balance work on most every pose! At my age (nearly 55), working on balance is important. Doubly so when you're working on getting your black belt in Tae Kwon Do as I am!One reviewer mentioned it's hard to move around and store and that's true. It's large and unwieldy (although not particularly heavy), but I knew that when I bought it. For me, it's worth the trouble. I just roll it up and stand it in a corner when I'm not using it since I don't have a "home gym" space.However, unlike the other reviewer, mine does NOT have the strong chemical odor. I've used it several times with no issues (as has my wife who is very sensitive to strong odors.)Speaking of my wife, she was dubious about my getting the mat but it was my requested Christmas gift. After trying it for some yoga, she exclaimed, "I'm never using another mat for yoga again!"

If I did I would float around on this all day. This mat is big and thick! I am 5.9 170 and point poses I cannot feel the concrete underneath, this is some dang nice dense but not too dense foam. Comfy too. I was in the dog house one night, I slept on it, I am old and beat up, I hardly ever sleep on the floor, awoke not refreshed but still happy, slept well.

it's a great exercise mat. It's definitely a little expensive but you do get what you pay for. I am a big guy and have recently started to exercise a little but laying on the normal mat made my back hurt. But this thing is awesome and provides perfect support and does not allow me to slip on the mat.

Was not like by son-in-law to whom this was a gift. Not flexible enough to move around and store in their small living quarters. Also, this mat exhuded strong "chemical" odor such that they did not want it within their small living quarters.I am currently trying to return it. Have written and have had no response. I am not counting on Amazon to support me in this effort.It has been over the 3-days, over a week, since I wrote the company.Thank you for this support.

Excellent for my feet, back & hands. Very thick so it’s great support. I like it a lot during yoga.

This mat is amazing and worth every penny! I am so happy with it and would give it more stars if I could! If you are serious about your floor exercises it is a must have.

The extra thickness and density of this mat make it an absolute pleasure to use for daily workouts.
