Alpine SPS610C / SPS-610C / SPS-610C 6.25, 230W, Component Speakers

I ordered these speakers as replacements for the originals in my avalanche. They sound better than the originals did when new.The order was accurate and on time.

Hello, I installed these speakers in my truck. The speakers I replaced were much more expensive Polk aftermarket and sounded great at one time. Speakers after a few years are damaged by the suns heat building up inside of a vehicle and don't sound quite as good. Note that I like Alpine products. That said, to me these speakers sound very good for the money. The tweeters can be mounted a few different ways and I like the threaded plastic flange that will neatly secure them in a hole. Cut the hole, stick the tweeter in and thread the hard plastic flange on from the back side. I think it is easy to get carried away, spending a lot more money for a relatively small gain in sound quality.

Ordered 2 sets for my travel trailer, but when I opened 1 of the boxes I realized that the tweeter was separate and was not practical to mount on the ceiling. Never tried them out so I can’t comment on the quality, but they decided to take $42 off the return because of this simple mistake of opening one box. Never took the products out of the plastic, just returned immediately after realizing the product and the challenge of having a separate tweeter. Definitely made for cars! If taking $42 off for a “restocking fee” is how you do business then I want no part of it.

I purchased two sets of these components for my Durango and let me tell you this will not disappoint you. Clean crisp and loud.im running these off a alpine cde hd149bt and they sound amazing. Would recommend to any one who wants a great sounding set of components alpine is the way to go.

Under customer questions it states it comes with grills. It does not which is no good for me.

The speakers are good, but the highs are too 'sharp' to my liking. Very fatiguing on long runs or higher volumes. May be good for the Ghetto Gangs with a loud sub

I have been very satisfied with these speakers. I installed them in my 2004 Toyota Tundra with relative ease. Sound is entirely subjective, but they are a noticeable step up from the stock speakers / tweeters that came in my truck. The highs can sometimes come on a little sharp, but that's easy enough to fix via EQ. For someone on a budget who wants to improve their daily driver's sound, I'd highly recommend these speakers.
