Good easy way to make JjamBong at home. It is as good as some restaurant's sauce.
For the price, this is a good sauce for making your own Jjamong. We use Udon noodle, and insert shrimps, octapus, squid, and sometimes clams. Also put in lots of vegetables such as bokchoy, squash, scallion, onion, green onion, etc.The broth makes jjambong that is as delicious as most average restaurant.

Delicious and easy to make...definitely spicy, but not to an extreme degree
I have tried products from this company before and liked them. This seafood powder was, thankfully, no exception! The kit is for one large meal (there are multiple servings in the meal - could easily feed a family of four) and is essentially just a spice kit. You will still need to prepare rice, vegetables, seafood, etc. The kit comes with a dry powder mix and concentrated wet ingredients (believe this to be the chili packet). Instructions are simple. Prepare seafood and vegetables like normal, add water, mix in powder, cook for a few more minutes, add wet ingredients, mix well and it's ready! The spices were so flavorful that I did not need to add any extra spices. This soup would be considered pretty spicy by the average American, but I thought the spice level was perfect - enough to slow me down while eating so I could have some rice and water to cool off, but not so much I couldn't enjoy the flavors of the food.Overall, I highly recommend this.

It’s okay…underwhelming
Being half Korean…raised by a Korean mother, I’ve had my share of Jjambong…and been called Jjbong. I added seafood, and veggies that are common in this dish…the packets taste like Shin-ramen. Nothing special about this. I rather just by shin-ramen which is a lot cheaper than this. Definitely not worth the price.
