Vegan strawberry banana flavor
Our kids’ eye doctor recommended they start taking Omega 3 for eye health and mentioned this brand in particular. I purchased the strawberry banana flavor because what kid doesn’t love strawberry banana?First of all, this is omega 3 from flax seed, not from fish oil so there is absolutely no fishy taste. It definitely has a strawberry banana taste, but imagine mixing those 2 fruits together and removing all the sugar. That’s the taste you’ll get. Also it’s very thick and almost a creamy in consistency. My kids don’t enjoy taking this by itself, but mix it in a smoothie or some strawberry yogurt and they don’t complain.

My picky child loves this!
I gave my 3 year old his first dose this morning after debating putting it in his yogurt. He loved it! He asked if I could always buy the “smoothie medicine” instead of the yucky kind. This makes me happy!

Stop the press! "HE LIKES IT!"
My kindergartener is a very picky eater. Initially, before buying this, I tried another brand of omega 3/DHA supplement that is in the shape of gummy dolphins. He told me they taste bad and he wouldn't eat them unless I gave him another gummy vitamin in the same mouthful with each one (so, paired each dolphin with a gummy swirl calcium gummy). I next tried about half teaspoon of Nordic Naturals Pro Omega (Pro EFA), lemon flavored dha oil drizzled on an Eggo waffle and then coated it thickly in wild blueberry jam to hide the taste. He could still taste it and rejected it. $25 wasted but I'll use it on another family member since it's also a great product. So for picky eater, I bought a small bottle of Chirpin' Slurpin' Lemonade, and put just one thick drop on a spoon, and asked him to taste it. His initial reaction was to say "mmm!" and then ask for more. He described the taste as a little bit sour and a little bit sweet, and overall like lemon-flavored frosting. He is a kid who likes things like key lime yogurt, which I find too sour, so your kid may or may not appreciate this if they aren't so into things that are sweet and tart or sweet and sour at the same time.He now comes to me to remind me to give him his "lemonade drops." The liquid is very thick and consistently opaque yellow. The consistency is kind of like squeeze-bottle honey, but easier to squeeze so maybe a little thinner. I like that I don't have to take an extra step of hiding it in something and wrapping it in extra sugary stuff and hoping he doesn't notice it. It's much faster this way. I will be ordering this again.

Straw Ana is vegan!
One of the four flavors is an entirely different product that contains omega 6 and an inferior form of omega 3! You should not be listing fish oil options with an inferior vegan substitute on the same page. I arrived at this page searching for fish oil. Then I chose the flavor I thought my daughter would like the most. Why in the heck is there a vegan flavor on the same page as three fish oil flavors?! I'm sure I'm not the rare customer who thought they were only switching flavors once they landed here. Put the vegan crap on a separate page for people who don't understand our place in the food chain.
